A left-handed hitter that starts in an athletic stance. Easy, fluid load that creates balance. Front foot, handsy hitter with a slight downhill stroke and impressive feel for squaring up the baseball. Line drive guy with sneaky pop. Swing will show decently in BP but really shows in game. Corner type in the outfield with fluid actions. Gets too in a timely fashion and through athletically. Arm is accurate with above average strength for class. At first base he moves well off the bag, bringing above average athleticism/lateral mobility to the spot. Very solid, well-rounded skill set over there. Right now has a higher ceiling at first than in the outfield. Two-way prospect. On the mound the southpaw has a slower paced tempo to a delivery that require some effort. Drop and drive type that gets down the mound well, finishing towards home plate. Arm is clean through a high-¾ slot. Spins a sluvirsh looking breaking ball that has depth and sharpness to it at 69-71 mph. Spins it well, showing present swing/miss abilities. Fastball has late life through the zone sitting 79-82 mph. Although breaking ball is primary secondary offering he also shows a playable changeup at 72-74 mph.  A strike thrower that fills up the zone with all three offerings.

Adam had a bright future. Two-way prospect who is a definite follow on the bump but his bat headlines his tools. A whippy yet powerful swing from the left side. Can spray it both sides of the field with impressive juice to oppo gap. A high average type that will show occasional power. At first base he brings above average athleticism for the spot. Looks the part over there, projecting as an above average defender.

60-yard dash: 7.29
Infield Velocity: 77

A two-way prospect that turned his top performance to date on the mound. The southpaw varies tempo, starting with a quicker pace going into a slight pause at balance point. Leg lift is chest high before getting into his load and stride. Arm is clean with whip through a high-¾ slot. A low effort guy with an easy 77-79 mph. Spins a sweeping, 2/8 shaped breaking ball with feel at 64-67 mph. The pitch has potential to grow into a well above average offering, already showing depth/sharpness. Also showed feel for his 70-72 mph changeup that has late action. Beery turned in his top outing to date, impressing with stuff and pitchability. A handsy hitter at the plate that generates impressive barrel whip through the zone with obvious strength through contact. An all fields hitter that has advanced feel for his opposite field gap. Projects to hit for average and power should come out as he adds loft to his swing. At first base he brings above average athleticism to the position. Gets off the bag well showing off above average lateral mobility. Glove works well. Projects as an average to well above average defender over there.

60-yard dash: 7.66
Infield Velocity: 74
Exit Velocity: 86

The lefty has been a staple on the top performers list and once again stood out with his abilities at the plate. Beery showed up with a much more physical, athletic frame than when we saw him in the summer and it showed in the box. Creates consistent timing through a simple, yet efficient loading sequence. Bat travels on a level path to the ball with obvious whip and well above average bat speed. Strength shows at contact as barrel gets through the ball with ease. Stays inside the ball well, producing natural ball flight to the middle/opposite field. One of the more impressive lefty bats we’ve come across so far in the class.

Really impressed at the plate in BP and in game. A smooth swinger with easy gap pop. Uses a small leg lift for timing. Barrel flows through load into launch prior to taking a mostly level path to the baseball. Showed natural loft to pull side. Bat speed is well above average and barrel gets through contact with authority. Should grow into a guy who can do consistent damage from the left side. At first base he brings well above average athleticism to the position. Showed feel around the bag with solid lateral mobility. Ball skills are above average. Bat is top tool but profiles as an above average defender as well. Showed an advanced ability on the mound with a quick and easy motion. He is smooth throughout his delivery and is effortless. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot and has control over his pitches. When he throws his off speed, he uses the same tempo, and arm slot as his FB. His delivery is deceiving in the windup and stretch. His FB has run and late movement. His best pitch is his sweeping CB, which runs on a 1/7 plane. It was untouchable to LHH in gameplay.

FB: 74-76 mph
CB: 60-62 mph
60-yard Dash: 7.63
Infield Velocity: 73
Exit Velocity: 87

Showed advanced ability on the mound, displaying quick, easy arm speed. Beery shows feel with all of his pitches, as he works both sides of the plate. Uses a high-¾ slot and features a 74-75 mph fastball that displays some natural cutting action on the plate. Best off speed pitch was his 59-62 mph breaking ball. The pitch displays sharp, late break on the plate on a 1/7 plane. Also keeps near fastball arm speed with his 65-66 mph changeup. Also was very impressive at the plate. a left-handed bat to keep an eye on as he matures. Beery has a very fluid swing sequence with loud natural tools at the plate. The Rootstown native has advanced feel for the barrel with impressive pop to both sides of the field. Brings above average athleticism to the first base position. Moves of the bag well with above average lateral mobility. Glove skills are there and he showed feel for the position.

60-yard dash: 7.73

Adam is a talented two-way prospect with a strong build at 5-foot-8, 140-pounds. On the mound the righty had fluid rhythm to a delivery he was able to repeat. Working through a high-¾ slot he showed off an impressive three-pitch mix. Fastball had slight run to it and sat 64-69 mph. Curveball was sharp, on an 11/5 plane at 56-59 mph. Was able to maintain fastball armspeed on his changeup at 61-62 mph.  At the plate he took an impressive round of batting practice, showing the ability to drive the ball to both sides of the field. Good extension through contact. Registered a top exit velocity of 76 mph. Has athleticism off the bag at first base but will need to play lower to be able to field the ball out in front of his body more consistently. Across the infield, he threw with 64 mph arm strength from a high-¾ slot. Ran a 7.93 60-yard dash.
