Beau Gardner: SS/RHP, (2025) Toledo Central Catholic, OH. 6-foot, 171-pound athletic lean frame. (63.6 mph bat speed average). (18.9 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a toe tap stride. Bat speed is quick efficient, displays a simple uphill swing plane and high balanced finish. He barreled up lots of balls with tons of loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Advanced in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 87 mph; shows in control feet, a clean fluid exchange, and sure next level hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. From athletic slot, showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a short quick arm action. Advanced on the mound, used a clean arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Showed athletic balance point with even in line shoulders. Lands square with recoil finish. (Max spin 2256; Avg 2161).

Begins in a balanced quiet stance with a compact load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was efficient, showed a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 85 mph; shows sure hands, a natural exchange, and choppy feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he used a compact arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort.
