Body Type: 5-foot-10, 165-pound athletic frame. Swing Mechanics: Athletic moves that sync well, incorporating a leg kick and slight barrel tip. Hit: Swing has refined since we saw him this summer. Mostly level path with obvious athleticism in the box. Feel over burst right now but tools are starting to come more dynamic. All fields hitter who is far from his ceiling. Power: 85 mph exit velocity. Line drive with gap abilities. Offensive Projection: TBD. Run: 6.88 60-yard dash. Field: Looks the part in the infield. Athletic kid with the ability to create angles and shows above average ball skills. Solid defender. Throw: 80 mph arm strength across the infield. Defensive Projection: All three skill spots.

5-foot-10, 160-pound shortstop with natural feel for the position. Uses his athleticism and clean hands well, and shows the ability to go side to side. Effortlessly fielded a slow chopper before throwing on the run as if he were a player much older. At the plate, has a balanced approach, and hands separate back with a stride before working flat through the zone. Ripped a line drive as I was watching, and should be greatly aided in the future as he matures and adds more strength. Intriguing shortstop whose actions look the part.

One of the younger prospects in attendance did more than hold his own amongst the state’s best. Looks the part up the middle in the infield. Feet are well timed, with the ability to create angles and change direction with ease. Ball skills are well above average for class. Offensively he has a series of fluid movements to loading sequence that create solid energy when synced. Had some path issues in BP that led to him not taking the loudest round but the young prospect showed well above average natural tools and will be just fine. D1 prospect.
A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced, athletic setup. Very fluid loading sequence. Uses a short stride for timing. Barrel gets vertical prior to launch. Strong kid with a middle of the lineup look to him. Path was mostly level with some natural loft. Bat speed and strength are well above average. Swing is efficient and he has the potential to be a power threat as he fills out his projectable frame. Present gap to gap pop. Very impressive in the infield. Actions are athletic and he is mechanically sound. Glove skills are well above average and stay outside his funnel. Has enough arm to stay on the left-side of the infield.
3/19/17
At the plate he starts balanced with his bat vertical. Lower half is fluid and hands are loose prior to swing decision. Barrel gets on plane early, allowing him to make contact deep with authority. Swings the bat with intent on a level path, with impressive bat speed and whip through the zone. Produced backspin to both fields, showing gap to gap pop. Swing should translate well to game action. In the infield he showed athleticism to his actions with well above average glove skills. Mechanically sound and plays with confidence. Impressive arm strength across the infield.
