Prep Baseball All-American Game: Krenzel presents one of the most repeatable operations in the class. A clean, loose arm stroke out of a low three-quarters slot, the Tennessee commit generates a ton of drive from his lower half with a sturdy lead leg-block. Present command and feel for a three pitch mix that can all be above-average offerings. Fastball at 91-94 is never straight with a ton of sink and run, and will flash a two-seam at times. Changeup will flash plus often at 82-84 with some spin-killing traits and late tumble that can miss barrels at will. Advanced feel and confidence in the pitch to throw in any count and throughout the zone. Slider feel has come leaps and bounds in 2023, and looks like a swing-and-miss offering at 81-84. Sweep and feel to spin are present, and with added command can be a true put-away pitch. Uncomfortable at-bats consistently.
6-2/170-pound physical projectable frame. Athletic on the bump, ¾ arm slot with long arm action and above average arm speed. Easy effort delivery. Fastball ramped up to 90 mph. Compliments the FB with a sharp upper 70s CB and a CH up to 80. Stock continues to rise.

Showed a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.31. Athletic on the mound, showed a ¾ arm angle and a long arm action with above average arm speed. Feel type pitcher who uses easy effort. Tall balance point with even shoulders.
