Brendan Hazuda: C/1B, (2023) Oregon Clay, OH. 6-foot-2, 205-pound. In the box, Hazuda recorded an exit velocity of 96 mph. (71.8 mph bat speed average). (24.4 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a quick load, then uses a leg kick controlled. Bat speed is flashed quick, uses a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Behind the plate, he made strong throws to second and produced an efficient position velocity of 79 mph; had soft hands, quick footwork, and a clean transfer. consistently had pop times of 2.00-2.15. Calm setup with some flexibility. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Clocked a time of 7.55 in the 60-yard dash.

 6-foot-1, 195-pound. Solid in the box, Hazuda had a max exit velocity of 83 mph. Began in an athletic wide stance with a quick small load, then used a short stride. Had average bat speed and a level swing plane. Found multiple barrels during his rounds. Line drive approach. Behind the plate, he made throws to second at velocities up to 76 mph; had athletic footwork, sure hands, and a fluid exchange. Had consistent pop times of 2.03-2.17. Some flexibility and quiet setup. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.86.
