Fast-twitch athlete we've seen run in the 6.6s and be 90+ off the bump. That athleticism was obvious in the box today. Barrels came off 90+ (T95) and the 70+mph batspeed translates considering path efficiency. Very talented defender who has the skill set to play all three outfield spots when considering arm strength. Hard to have a better day than Daniel did against Massachusetts. After his 3 RBI triple he took the mound and showed electric stuff. ++ Athleticism, explosive delivery. Arm speed jumps out right away. FB T90 never dipped below 87 w/a late breaking CB.

2/17/19 Position
Body Type: 5-foot-4 115-pound prospect.
Swing Mechanics: Switch hitter. From the right side uses a toe tap load and keeps his barrel through the zone with a mostly pull approach. From the left side he shows roughly the mechanically same swing but can’t make any consistent quality contact. Hit: Good bat to ball ability from the right side. Well below average bat to ball ability from the left side.
Power: 67 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Swing shows some good potential from the right side with an ability to drive line drives to both fields. Probably hurting himself by trying to be a switch guy. Field: In the outfield he plays through the ball well with good footwork and a smooth release.
Throw: 67 mph across the diamond. 70 mph from the outfield. In the infield he showed pretty good footwork with minimal angles through the ball. Decent hands and a quick exchange and release on his throws. Run: 4.95 home to first.
Defensive Projection: Shows pretty good athleticism and fundamental skills in both the infield and outfield. How he develops physically will probably end up determining where his best fit is at the next level.
