Ranked No. 14 in Ohio's 2028 class. 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame. At the plate, the bat is the carrying tool at present — Vondersaar produced an impressive 101 mph exit velocity, ahead of the class. Defensively, showed a steady 75 mph behind the plate with top pop times of 1.92-1.96, and posted a 7.16 laser-timed 60.

The #8th ranked 2028 in the Ohio rankings would provide an electric look out of the leadoff spot for the Hit Dogs on Friday afternoon. Vondersaar would find the barrel multiple times for a couple of absolute lasers off the bat in a 3-for-5 performance with a triple and two doubles. Innate barrel feel stands out with huge bat speed and easy leverage through the zone. Adjustability in the path with excellent pitch recognition allows for Vondersaar to get on time with velo or spin. The incoming sophomore maintains great balance through impact with feel for the zone. High-floor tools litter the profile for Vondersaar with still so much more to project upon throughout the physical, athletic 5-foot-11 frame. Vondersaar would show off the two-way prowess later in the week as well as he would hop on the mound and churn out an electric start. Striking out 12 across 5.1 IP. Fastball lived 83-85 and curveball played well off the fastball at 73-76 with sharp depth (2800 + RPM).

Wow type tools for the '28 class. Explosive bat speed (75mph) and upper 80s type EV. Ball looks different off the barrel, just missing leaving the yard a few times to pull side.

Jackson Vondersaar: RHP/C, (2028) Olentangy Berlin, OH. 5-foot-9, 140-pound. (66.3 mph bat speed average). (22.0 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced stance with a controlled quick load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is explosive, uses a level swing plane and balanced finish. He barreled up lots of balls with a lot of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 78 mph. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.66. Projectable advanced on the mound, showing quick arm speed he had a short consistent arm action and an over-the-top arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed strong balance point and downhill shoulders. Lands closed with recoil finish.  (Max spin 2306; Avg 2190).
