Widley considered one of the state's top bats who's been scorching balls all summer. Today was no different. Fyffe consistently moved the ball around the yard w/quality fligh and loud barrels. Several balls at 90+, climbing into the mid 90s (T95) and leaving the yard twice. Defensively, the hands work well / actions are fluid and athletic. A guy who can play multiple skill spots in the infield. 

Logan Fyffe: SS/RHP, (2024) Kenton Ridge, OH. 5-foot-10, 150-pound athletic frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 88 mph. Started in an open athletic stance with a quick load, then used a leg kick. Has a level swing plane and average bat speed. Athletic in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 76 mph; showed a clean exchange, athletic developing feet, and soft hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. On the mound, showed good arm speed, he had a ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Produced a fastball that came in at 76-77 mph; showed running action and arm side command. His 11/5 curveball (59-61) shows gradual action. Showed arm side command and fading action on his changeup (68-69). 

Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in an open setup. Very fluid, simple load that leads to a balanced launch. Aggressive swinger that doesn't get cheated. Physical dude with above average bat speed. Turn and burn BP.
Power: Gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Multiple roles.
Max BP Exit Velocity: 83mph.
Max BP Distance: 275ft.
Field: Middle skill set in the infield. Quick feet, soft hands and above average ball skills.
Throw: 3/4 righty whose arm plays up due to quick transfer abilities.
Defensive Projection: MIF.

Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in a taller stance. SImple hands during leg kick timing trigger.
Hit: Balanced launch with a level path. Stays inside the baseball well working to the big part of the field. Balanced natural tools through the zone. Sprayed line drives in BP.
Power: Line drive pop with flashes of gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles.
Field: In the infield he plays with aggressive feet without compromising fluidity. Cuts down distance off the bat and shows above average ball skills for class.
Throw: ¾ right-hander with average to above average arm strength for class.

In the infield he plays with feel and mechanically sound feet. Very solid defender with above average ball skills. Contact type hitter at the plate with a compact stroke. Barrel works on slightly downhill path to contact, offering a balanced combination of strength/speed to hands. Would be aided by launching from  more balanced setup as he tends to get to front side a bit early.

One of the top hit tools we've seen in the 2024 class. Smooth, efficient, athletic with a ton of feel in the box. Already has well above average jump off the barrel with almost certainly more additions to come as he adds strength. The pure path, combined with barrel accuracy allows him to use the entire field regularly. Smooth defender that displayed the same functional athleticism with the glove as he did with the bat. Ball skills are there / appears to be sure-handed. Time will tell exact future destination but with the previously mentioned ball skills, athleticism, and projected above average arm strength he will likely end up being a quality defender.
