Curveball: 63-65 mph. 12-6 shape that showed late bite at times. In and out of zone.
Changeup: 64-66 mph. Showed some arm side fade. Consistently in the zone.
Pitchability: Pounded zone with the fastball & change-up, but was in and out of the zone with curveball. Curveball showed signs of being a swing and miss pitch in the future.
Additional Comments: Preston has a great chance to increase velocity with increased strength and improved lower half mechanics. Increased velocity and development of the breaking ball should make him a good follow in the ‘22 class.
