Body Type: 5-foot-8, 170-pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Left-handed hitter with a fluid leg lift while showing a slight back load to hands.
Hit: More physical than we saw this summer without compromising the barrel accuracy we’ve come to expect from him. Used the whole field with flashes of authority. Don’t let frame fool you there is definitely some thump behind his swing.
Power: 90 mph exit velocity. Line drive swinger with an all fields approach and gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles.
Run: 4.5 H-1st.
Field: Kaczmar is one of, if not the most talented defenders behind the dish in his class. Quiet, athletic receiver that looks the part back there. Elite skill set catch/throw wise. Popped between 1.87-1.93.
Throw: 76 mph arm strength to second base.
Defensive Projection: C.
Additional Comments: One of the top catchers in the ‘20 class. Grade A makeup with borderline elite skill set behind the dish and a swing that is becoming more physical.

Kaczmar really stood out for abilities defensively. Started off his workout by showing advanced catch and throw abilities. Feet/transfer are very quick with adequate arm strength and advanced accuracy, placing each throw on the bag. In game he showed a very high baseball IQ, well above average receiving abilities, and high motor/energy effort. Offensively he swings it from the left side. Pre-swing movements are simple, yet efficient allowing him to consistently be on time/create energy into contact. A feel hitter that finds the barrel often and works to the inside of the baseball.

60-yard dash: 7.10
Catcher Velocity: 74
Pop Times: 1.86-1.93
Exit Velocity: 87

5-foot-7, 150 pound left hand hitting catcher displayed a smooth, clean transfer after receiving the ball very well for his age. Kaczmar has good footspeed with above average footwork getting him into strong throwing position out of his crouch. Good arm strength for his age recording a 73 mph velocity and his pop time was one of the best at the event at 1.87-1.93. Overall, very impressive defensively. Offensively, Kaczmar swings it well with a level, smooth stroke making nice contact all throughout his round. He does come up at times in his swing which cause him to miss barreling the ball up but the majority of his swings resulted in solid contact. Recorded top exit velocity of 86 mph. Great upside to this athlete especially as he gets older.
