Dugan Smith: 3B/RHP, (2024) Perrysburg High School, OH. Capital University Commit, 6-foot, 190-pound. (62.6 mph bat speed average). (18.9 mph hand speed average). Started in a strong balanced stance with an active load, then used a toe tap stride. Bat speed was developing, used a short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up multiple balls throughout the round. Line drive approach. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 74 mph. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.7. Projectable on the mound, showing good arm speed he had an over-the-top arm angle with a short clean arm action. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher who uses easy effort. Has even shoulder and athletic balance point. Lands square with balanced finish. (Max spin 1873; Avg 1761).
