5/18/19

A physically impressive 6-foot-4, 215-pound frame with some strength throughout. On the mound, the right-hander works from a slightly up tempo delivery with rhythm before gliding to the dish, striding closed, and finishing balanced. Arm action is long in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball shows some downhill tilt at 79-81 mph, mostly strikes. Curveball has 11/5 sweeping shape, some strikes. Changeup has consistent fade at 72-73 mph.

5/18/19

A 6-foot-4, 215-pound long, len framed 1st baseman hits from a slender stance, narrow knees and hands inside the shoulders. Small, controlled load and stride, much more separation to be created in big frame. Lands athletic on front foot to start swing, small arm bar leads upper half to the baseball. Not overmatched, average pull side pop and bat speed with more to be developed, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.15 60. Defensively, showed good pace and fluid actions, feet and hands work through the baseball. Showed feel front hand and back hand side, low ¾ arm slot, made throws on the run to second base. Infield velo at 76 mph.

5/19/18
A physically impressive 6-foot-4, 215-pound frame. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with excellent rhythm. Arm action has length in the back, making a fluid and clean circle before coming through an over the top slot. Fastball sits 78-81 with downhill tilt and some arm-side run. Changeup has some sink at 72-73 mph. Curveball is still developing some 11/5 shape, 65-66 mph.

A physically impressive 6-foot-4, 215-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a back leg heavy and even set-up with a slight crouch and rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate knee-knock leg kick and an arm-bar load before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path to contact and a high finish. In BP, shows a middle to pull approach with lift and much more pop than his 80 mph exit velo would suggest. Runs a 7.4 second 60. Defensively, at first base, shows clean and deliberate actions, throws with a short arm stroke through a low 3/4 slot with accuracy, 77 mph across the diamond.

9-9-18
