9/15/13 Walker turned in another solid performance in all facets of the game. He went 1-for-3 in game action at Slippery Rock University and displayed solid defense at both middle infield spots over the course of two games. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound prospect has been impressive at all stops in the fall program and officially announced his commitment to the University of Pitt Johnstown following a visit on September 16. Walker was impressive in his final fall program appearance on the mound. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound righty topped at 81 mph and mixed in a solid 74 mph slider to retire nine consecutive hitters in his three innings of work at Thiel College.
9/8/13 Walker is an uncommitted senior that shows excellent game instincts. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound prospect showcased all of his tools on the weekend going 2-for-4 with a double at Mansfield University and turning in the play of the weekend on a one handed charging play from 3B at Misericordia University.

8/25/13 Walker showcased a solid 85 mph bat exit velocity and a very short swing path. He barrels everything in batting practice and utilizes a strong lower half to create some gap power. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound uncommitted senior displayed his athleticism, turning two double plays from 2B. In both cases Walker showed a clean, quick transition and was able to get off strong throws with a runner bearing down on him
8/18/13 Walker is a legitimate two-way candidate at the next level. He works quickly from a high 3/4 arm slot, sitting 81-83 with command of a tight breaking curveball at 73 mph. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound righty pounds the strike zone and keeps the ball down. He struck out four batters in three innings of work over two days. Walker showcased an impressive 87 mph bat exit velocity and a very short swing path. He consistently barreled the baseball in batting practice and showed some gap power. Walker is a dependable middle infielder with an 83 mph arm across the diamond and a very quick release. He has the ability to play the ball on the move and shows good lateral foot speed.
7/18/13 Walker is a baseball player. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound prospect is a hard-nosed prospect with two-way abilities that continues to impress. Walker ran a 7.49 60-yard dash and showed solid glove work in the middle infield. He has good feet, soft hands and a quick release with a 75 mph throwing arm across the diamond. Walker has a short, compact swing path and demonstrated the ability to barrel the baseball repeatedly during a solid round of batting practice. Walker sat 83-85 out of a high 3/4 arm slot during his bullpen session. He also commands the strike zone with a 74 mph 11/5 breaking curveball, a 76 mph changeup and a 77 mph slider that has late bite.
6/12/13 Walker showcased a square stance, and short swing path in a round of batting practice that saw him square the baseball to all fields. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound two-way prospect turned in an 87 mph bat exit velocity and went 1-for-5 with a double and a sacrifice fly in game play. The sure handed middle infielder showed good range and a 79 mph arm across the diamond with a quick release. Walker sat 81-82 from the mound with a sharp breaking 74 mph curveball and a 75 mph change up in his arsenal. Walker's all-around skill set will make him a coveted recruit in this class.
2/23/13 Walker is a solidly built 5-foot-9, 160-pound prospect who made a name for himself. He is very solid defensively showcasing good feet, soft hands and a clean exchange. He displayed a solid arm at 79 mph and good range. Offensively Walker was equally impressive. He hits out of and open stance and strides to closed with good barrel whip and extension. Walker used an 86 mph bat exit velocity to drive baseballs to all fields. His performance on the mound later in the day solidified a significant future jump in the Class of 2014 rankings. He had one of the top bullpen sessions on the day. The junior was a strike throwing machine out of a 3/4 arm slot. He sat 83-85 with a fastball that showed some arm-side run. His 78 mph changeup was thrown at fastball arm speed and also showed arm-side run. Walker's best pitch was a nasty 10-4 breaking slider at 78 mph. The pitch showed late movement and was thrown out of the same arm slot as his other two pitches. Walker's abilities as a two-way player make him a definite follow in this class.
1/19/13 Walker was one of the most impressive prospects at the event. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound prospect ran a 7.51 60-yard dash and threw 77 mph across the infield. Walker displayed soft hands, athletic actions and a quick release from his middle infield position. Walker was particularly impressive at the plate. He used a strong lower half and quick hands to consistently line pitches to all fields. He displayed the ability to stay inside the baseball and a bat exit velocity of 81 mph.
