Physical: Lean, ultra-athletic 5-foot-11, 160lb frame with projection left in the build. 6.66 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance with a slight bend in the knees at the start just outside shoulder-width. Utilized a leg lift stride to initiate the bat head through a flat path into the hitting zone coupled with a barrel tip to get slotted early. Able to hit behind the baseball and generate fluid, flush contact with bat-speed accelerating into impact at the front of the plate. Adjustable lower half and T92 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman pointing towards doubles power and room for more. Worked up to a 320 foot batted ball distance and created backspin through the middle of the field at a 36% fly ball rate during a standout round.
Defensively: The primary outfielder flashed CF qualities during defense, playing on his toes with an immediate, bursty first step in either direction. Held low posture gaining ground on the ball in the approach, with a soft glove hand funneling into the body from the left side. Accurate, high ¾ slot carrying to the plate at 88 mph.
Pitching: RHP - Moved to the mound starting off the middle of the rubber from the stretch-only. Showed off a medium leg lift, getting down the slope with quick pace and good bend, driving into a firm front side at release (whippy H ¾). The FB showed from 80-83 mph, pounding the zone with arm-side run at times. Mixed a 64-66 mph CB with ability to land for strikes at any time.
