2/27/22

Physical: Taller, projectable 6-foot-3, 185lb frame with feel for a durable body.

Pitching: LHP - The southpaw featured good pace off the right side of the rubber. Higher posture and liked to lean slightly to the heel side on the move down the slope. Makes the ball come off the hand out of a H ¾ slot with some arm-side fade clipping the zone at 84 mph for strikes. Displayed command on a 70-71 mph CB with 1/7 tilt, gaining two-plane shape and added a much improved 75-77 mph SL. Hard-fading 71-73 mph CH rounds out the arsenal for a clean four-pitch mix.

6/15/21

Physical: Tall, projectable 6-foot-3, 185lb frame with a high-waist and durability found.

Pitching: LHP - Started off the far right side of the rubber using quick pace into the delivery; got to a high leg lift with separation into footstrike and lots of tempo down the slope. Released from H ¾ with fluid arm action and the FB ranging 77-79 mph for strikes with big time arm-side run (T21 inches HM via Trackman). Added a sharp, well spun T2400rpms SL at 65-68 mph for strikeouts, sweeping hard across the plate when he got on top. Ability to add velo in the next couple years with useful movements on the bump.
