Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-11, 165lb frame with even proportions in the build. 6.87 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Wide, even stance with the hands moving slowly in rhythm at the shoulder. Utilized a short, quick toe tap stride in order to initiate the bat head through a flat, slightly uphill path through the hitting zone. Simple, adjustable operation allowing for consistent barrels spraying to both gaps, carrying over to game action with a mature approach. Top of the order skillset and dominated on pitches thrown on the inner half, staying inside the baseball. Worked up to a T87 mph bat-exit velocity and recorded a 50% line drive rate via Trackman Baseball, pointing towards the ability to hit for AVG as he matures.
Defensively: The primary shortstop showed off above-average footwork, getting downhill early in routes with the weight on the toes. Held momentum through the exchange, with ability to get rid from a moderate, high ¾ slot and change angles on the run (T80 mph arm). Should be able to stick on the left side moving forward and flashed great confidence in balls hit to his left (glove hand side).
