Listed at 6-foot, 180-pounds, Guerra posted some of the best pop times of the event (1.94-2.07) and played easy catch to second base with a top velocity from the crouch of 79 mph. The right-handed hitter was on time and on the barrel during BP. Uses a short leg kick to load back, loose-strong hands with good lag in the barrel, he drove the ball to the gaps with a top exit velocity of 86 mph. On the infield,

Sergio Guerra (San Diego HS) does a little bit of everything from catching, to playing infield, and is a solid all-around ball player. Although he as only been catching for a short time, he posted pop times of 1.94-2.11 with a top velocity from the crouch of 78 mph. Quick exchange with a clean arm swing on throws to second base. The right-handed hitter starts from a tall, stacked stance, then uses a leg kick load as he cocks the barrel forward toward the mound. Gap power with strength at contact and a top exit velocity of 89 mph off the tee. Clean footwork and soft hands on the infield with directional shuffles to throw from over the top arm swing with a top velocity of 88 mph. On the mound, he works from a high-¾ slot with a short arm circle. Short stride down the mound with above average effort. His fastball ranged from 76-82 mph, while his curveball had early break at 64-68 mph.

Guerra has versatility to his game with his ability to catch and play infield. Quick two-handed exchange with a fairly accurate arm on throws to second base with good strength for his class. Posted pop times of 2.11-2.26 with a top velocity of 74 mph from the crouch. The arm strength translates on the infield as well, where he threw 84 across the diamond. The bat stand out during BP with hard contact through the middle of the field. Uses a short leg kick as he loads back, triggers his hands back and points the barrel over his head. Guerra has soft hands in the field and works through the ball with his body and flows through the throw with a consistent and accurate release.  Guerra has an athletic stance at the plate with a smooth load Guerra has strong hands at the plate, and he flashed power potential to the gap in left center field; 83 mph exit velocity.
