8/08/23

Physical: 5-10, 155 pounds; Proportional, slight build. 7.55 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish.  More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 84 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; static during pre-pitch while showing choppy feet. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a standard 3/4 arm slot.  OF - 77 MPH.

Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup working primarily from the stretch. Mid chest leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while wrist hooks behind back; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 85 MPH, while sitting 83-85 MPH; commands both sides. SL: 73-77 MPH; 2-tier break.

5/22/23

2025 RHP/C Allon Seepersaud is another player who’s attended multiple events this year and continues to show his developments on the mound. 5-foot-10, 155-pound right-hander with a long, loose arm and a fastball that’s ticked upwards this year, now sitting in the 82-84mph range. Flashed a slider at 75mph with more of a downer-look to it and the changeup is the best secondary offering with some serious fade and horizontal break to it (28.3inches HM). With a pair of quality pitches right now, it will be interesting to see Seepersaud in-game throughout the summer.

2/20/23

Seepersaud, 6-foot-1, 180-pounds, was one of the better arms we had today at the Ontario New Year Open. The FB sat low 8’s topping out at 85.7 with a long, whippy arm action. Gets down the mound quickly and is around the zone. His CH worked with heavy fade (17.2 HB avg) and will be a go-to pitch for him this upcoming season. This has been the best we’ve seen from Seepersaud as his trend on the mound continues to go up.

9/28/22

2024 C/RHP Allon Seepersaud may have made the biggest jump, development wise, in the program. His arm strength is the biggest tool that jumps out and his actions in all areas have become quicker and smoother. Tied for the top pop-time at 2.01 with accurate throws at 70mph. His most impressive portion of the day came on the mound where he sat 79-82 and topped out at 83.4mph. Skinny, wiry frame at 5-foot-9, 145-pounds with a long, loose arm. Offspeed stuff still needs to develop but it’s clean and comfortable on the mound with lots of upside.

6/29/22

Seepersaud, 5-foot-9, 134-pounds, looked good behind the dish and on the mound during the Future Games Frenzy. Behind the dish, it's a quick transfer and accurate throws on the bag with a 2.11-2.23 pop and 70 mph catcher velo. On the mound, Seepersaud throws a 77-79 mph FB that is around the zone. He spun a couple SL’s that showed some break and a CH. With added strength and maturity, Seepersaud will look to keep developing as a player.

10/24/21

Seepersaud was an intriguing 2024 we saw in Oshawa who looked the part at multiple positions. At the dish, it's a line-drive approach from the right side and he's able to to work the ball to all fields. He was one of the quickest '24s we saw behind the dish with pop times of 2.11 - 2.23 and worked up to 75 mph on the bump as well. At just 5-foot-9, 134-pounds, there's still a lot of growing that needs to happen but he does a lot of things well right now.
