Switalski is a highly athletic, competitive pitcher who’s clearly been hard at work sharpening up his curveball, which showed much more bite and spin on Sunday, and he was spotting it consistently well. That development, while sitting 87-89 mph with jump and carry, was one of the more substantial takeaways from the entire event.


Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-0, 170-pounds. Athletic, well proportioned.
Hit: RHH. Balanced stance, tall setup, slightly narrow, subtle leg lift, short stride. Path is short to the baseball, line drive contact with consistent middle of the field approach, athletic hitter.
Power: 89.89 max exit velocity, averaged 85.53 mph. 322’ max distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 94 mph. Flashed plus arm strength for age, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Aggressive action through the baseball, shuffle step behind footwork, long exchange.
Run: 7.31 runner in the 60.


Delivery: Full windup delivery, low effort, works online, tall and fall type.
Arm Action: RH. Long loose arm action, high 3/4 slot with repeatability.
FB: T89, 87-89 mph. Plays straight, four seam type with carry through the zone. T2175, 2149 average rpm.
CB: 75-77 mph. 11/5 shape, sharp action thrown aggressively with fastball arm action and feel for the zone. T2411, 2333 average rpm.
CH: 81-83 mph. Arm side action, showed fade and sink movements. T1794, 1766 average rpm.



 Positional Profile: OF/RHP One of the top prospects in Wisconsin's sophomore class.
Body: 6-0, 160-pounds. Lanky, high-waisted frame with athleticism. Plenty of room to tack on strength throughout.
Delivery: Hands rock over head prior to initiating a smooth tempo'd drop/drive type delivery. Athletic posture, fluid lower half movement patterns, explodes downhill, strong lead leg block at foot strike. Works direct to target, lands square with an athletic finish.
Arm Action: RH. Long and loose arm action, high 3/4 slot. 
FB: T87, 85-86 mph. Comes out clean, lively action into the zone. Flashed arm-side run, rises at times but plays best down at the knees.
CB: 72-73 mph. 11/5 shape with some depth, early break. Averages 2,212 RPM. 


Hit: RHH. Quiet in the box, balanced setup, smooth load, short stride to even.  Simple swing, loose hands, long and level bat path, gap-to-gap approach, sprays to all fields.
Power: 85 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. OF - 88 mph. Short and loose arm action works from an over-the-top slot. Well advanced arm strength for age, throws played true with natural carry to home.
Defense: Natural outfield actions, completely looks the part. Bouncy defender pre-pitch, athletic feet that work around the baseball in rhythm, soft hands, quick hand transfer, clean to release.
Run: 7.16 runner in the 60. 


Positional Profile: 3B/RHP Identified early as one of the top prospects in the state's 2023 class; competitive, aggressive demeanor.
Body: 6-foot-0, 155-pounds. Athletic frame with a live arm; lean, wiry strength.
Delivery: Tall, staggered setup working from the left edge of the rubber; smooth side rock to high knee and athletic balance point. Drops and drives with level shoulders, working on line, landing square to home, finishing athletically with big extension to the target.
Arm Action: RH. Long, loose, and quick arm action from a high 3/4 slot. Live arm.
FB: T85, 83-85 mph. Straight four-seam type; features some jump/carry through the zone. Extension at release helps velocity play up.
CB: 72-74 mph. 12/6 shape thrown at arm speed; flashed sharp, biting action with a feel for tight spin.
CH: 75-79 mph. Straight change thrown with conviction and at arm speed; slight arm-side action.
Hit: RHH. Slightly open stance, short stride, hands stay in rhythm. Slightly uphill path, average bat speed, loose hands through contact.
Power: 81 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF - 88 mph. Live arm, short loose arm action, high 3/4 slot, carry across with minimal accuracy.
Defense: Feet setup to play through the baseball glove play left of center, out front, soft hands work through the baseball.
Run: 7.44 runner in the 60. 


An athletic and lanky 5-foot-10, 150-pound prospect with projectability. He started on the mound for the Hitters on Sunday against Naperville Renegades American. Pitched 3.2 innings and allowed three runs on three hits, three walks, and he also struck out three batters. He has a simple delivery, rocks into motion, stays tall. Arm action is long and loose, high ¾ slot, arm speed is quick, especially for his age. Fastball, 79-81 mph, with consistent arm-side run, flashed hard action; sat in the 76-79 mph range after the first frame. Curveball has swing-and-miss potential, with power 11/5 shape and depth when he gets on top of it.

Body: 5-foot-10, 150-pounds. Athletic, lanky, build with room for continuous physical development. Becoming a high-follow member of the 2023.
Defense: Flashed soft hands, flashed fluid footwork, clean exchange, athletic and plays through the ball.
Arm: RH. INF - 82 mph. Long draw, loose action, high 3/4 slot, carry on throws.
Hit: RHH. Balanced/tall setup, short leg lift, fluid rhythm throughout. Short path, flashed pull side potential.
Power: 79 mph exit velocity from the tee. Flashed advanced bat speed for his class.
Run: 7.51 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Side rocker step, tall balance point, tall and fall delivery, lands slightly closed.
Arm Action: RH.
FB: T82, 79-81 mph. Played arm side run, hard action.
CB: 68-70 mph. 11/5 shape, power action, maintains arm speed.
CH: 74-78 mph. Maintains fastball arm speed, firm action, fade movement, flashed sink movement.

3.20.18 - 5-foot-8, 135-pound two-way player. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, leg kick trigger, balanced through contact. Short path to the baseball, stays on top, loose hands. Contact sprays to both sides of the field, line drive type, 77 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.99 runner in the 60. Defensively arm is loose, high ¾ slot, 68 mph across the diamond. Plays with body control, clean exchange, soft hands. On the mound arm action is similar, smooth delivery. Fastball has slight arm side run, 70-71 mph, touched 72 mph. Curveball plays 11/5, controls the zone, 60-63 mph. Changeup has above average feel, sinking action, 66-68 mph.
