Had one of the stronger showings during the gameplay portion of the event, collecting three hits including a double and a home run. Listed at a strong 5-foot-11, 197-pounds with easy bat speed and strength at the plate, the right handed hitter reached a peak exit velocity of 99.6 mph during batting practice with an average exit velocity of 95.7 mph with an average bat speed of 72.5 mph. Defensively at third, Nicolato made multiple plays on the move during gameplay with more than enough arm strength to stick on the left-side of the diamond with capable actions at third.

Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 73 in the state’s junior class, listed at a strong 5-foot-11, 193 pounds. Was on the barrel across both games, picking up two hits in game one leading the team in RBIs in the win. History of hitting in front of our staff no matter the arm, taking a direct and on plane path to the baseball.. Defensively a capable defender at either corner infield spot, with plenty of arm to stick at third base long term.
+ INF Carter Nicolato (Muskego, 2026) is a strong and sturdy 5-foot-10, 198 pound right handed hitter who showcased some serious hand and bat speed through the hitting zone throughout his round. Nicolato averaged 91 mph exit velocity throughout his round which was 5th best for the event and exemplified how often the junior was on the barrel. We continue to like Nicolato and he is poised for a big spring.

RHP/3B Carter Nicolato (Muskego, 2026) is an infield and right-handed pitching prospect who came away a huge winner from Saturday’s event. The sophomore stands 5-foot-10, 199 pounds with strength throughout his frame. With the bat, Nicolato repeated a simple swing and consistently barreled up the baseball and drove it through both gaps. He registered the second highest max exit velocity of the event at 97.9 mph and the top average exit velocity of 94.8 mph. His 100% hard hit percentage was far and away the best of the event as well. On defense, Nicolato moved with fluidity and athleticism, showing soft hands working through the ball. His 90 mph arm across the infield was tied for second best among infield participants. As a pitcher, Nicolato sat 85-88 mph with the fastball, spun a two plane breaking slider at 71-72 mph and deployed a 73-75 mph changeup that he threw with fastball intent. It was one of the more impressive overall days from the event and confirmed Nicolato as a name to know in the state for the class of 2026.
Impressed out of the ‘pen for the Halos in the Championship game, working his fastball up to 82 mph with a clean and loose delivery. Also showed feel for an 11/5 breaking ball to pair off the baseball.
RHP/INF Carter Nicolato (Muskego, 2026) showed well as a two-way prospect in Milwaukee. Nicolato is listed at a strong 5-foot-11, 165-pounds, with projectability. At the plate, he showed a balanced set up with quick hands that drove the ball to both gaps. He had a max exit velocity of 90.7 mph, a max batted distance of 289 feet, and a max bat speed of 73.3 mph. Defensively, showed fluid actions and a quick arm that produced a velocity across the diamond of 82 mph. On the mound he showed a fastball that sat 78-81 mph (81.9 max) with four-seam actions. He also mixed in a slider with some downer action, and a changeup with 17’ of induced vertical break on average.
