RHP Dylan Schreiber (Waukesha West, 2027): Purdue commit, a highly projectable 6-foot-6.6, 223.3-pounds, long levered and a wiry frame that promises plenty of future physical fill. On the mound, balanced leg lift and drives down the slope with a powerful lower half, releasing out of a low-3/4 slot with a quick arm. His fastball sat 87-90 mph (1,848 rpm) with 6.4 inches of average induced vertical break and 15.8 inches of average horizontal movement, generating late bore at an advanced velocity. His slider played at 75-77 mph (2,189 rpm) with -2.6 inches of average horizontal movement, serving as a quick, late-breaking pitch that he consistently lands for strikes. Rounding out the arsenal, his changeup played at 81-83 mph (2,159 rpm) with 15.9 inches of average horizontal movement, fading from the exact same window as the fastball to operate as a weapon against hitters on both sides of the plate.
Future Games 2025: RHP Dylan Schreiber (Wauekesha West) shows the projectability that any coach would be able to dream on. At 6-foot-6, 205-pounds, Schreiber also possesses broad shoulders that allow room for additional strength to an already uber projectable frame. Schreiber has a delivery with athleticism down the mound, throwing out of a lower ¾ slot that combined with his frame, makes for an uncomfortable at bat for hitters. He looked sharp at the Future Games. Offering the fastball in the 86-89 range with arm-side life, finding the zone consistently. He offered a 74-75 mph slider with late horizontal break, as well as a high-70s changeup with depth. He was in control during his two innings of work, allowing two hits, no runs, no walks, and striking out one.
+ RHP/INF Dylan Schreiber (Waukesha West, 2027) stands out at 6-foot-6, 205 pounds with more room to add to his long levered frame. Schreiber is one of the top sophomores in the class with an immense ceiling on the mound. On the mound, Schreiber showed feel to repeat an athletic delivery from a unique slot with feel to land three pitches in the zone. The fastball sat 88-91 throughout the ‘pen with heavy sinking action, averaging 6.3 inches of IVB with late running action. Schreiber showed feel and confidence in both secondaires, both offerings showering potential out-pitch qualities. The changeup stands out, thrown with intent sitting 80-83 mph with heavy diving action off the fastball, averaging -0.1 inches of IVB with 14.2 inches of run. His mid-70s slider is thrown with tight and late sweeping action. Also swings a heavy LH bat with feel for the barrel, taking a standout round of batting practice showing feel to lift the baseball. Schreiber has one of the highest ceilings in the class with an arsenal that is only starting to tick up.

RHP/1B Dylan Schreiber (Waukesha West, 2027) is arguably the most projectable prospect in the state, built at a long-limbed 6-foot-6, 180 pounds and he came away a huge winner from Sunday’s event. Despite his extra-long levers and young age, Schreiber is a clean mover on the bump, pairing it with a loose arm that created some of the day’s top velocities. Schreiber started off his ‘pen with an electric 87.2 mph fastball, which ultimately was his hardest of the day as he consistently sat in the mid-80s throughout the remainder. He also showed upside feel for a lateral breaking slider in the low-70s that flashed out-pitch potential and a late-fading changeup in the upper-70s, too. He also took a clean round of BP from the left-side on Sunday, where he utilized a direct path to consistently drive the ball back up the middle of the field. Metrically, his hardest hit ball came off at 91.2 mph and he averaged 86.1 mph throughout his round, both of which are well-above average numbers for someone his age. After hitting an 83 mph high back in July at the Prep Baseball Junior Future Games our staff certainly saw some huge upside inside of Schreiber’s lanky frame. While we did expect him to tap more and more into that upside as he progressed through his prep career, we didn’t expect him to do it as early as he has and he is certainly a high-follow name in the state’s freshman class.
PBR Junior Future Games: After standing out as a two-way prospect at The Rock, 1B/RHP Dylan Schreiber (Waukesha West, 2027) left his mark on the showcase scene at the LakePoint Sports Complex. With his long 6-foot-4, 165-pound frame, Schreiber took a quality round of BP during his time on the main stage in Georgia, averaging 210 feet per batted ball. The right-hander showcased smooth actions at the first base position, displaying range and illustrated his actions that earned him an invite to Team Wisconsin. His two-way abilities will continue to be on display throughout the rest of the week.

Schreiber possesses a physically imposing frame for a 14 year old on the mound. From the right side, he has a drop and drive delivery. The arm has whip from a low ¾ slot that produces a FB that sat 75-78 mph, T79. Schreiber also flashed feel for a SL that has out-pitch potential moving forward. Final line from Thursday morning: 6 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 3 K.
One of the top performances of the day came from RHP/1B Dylan Schreiber (Waukesha West, 2027). Schreiber, who already stands at an eye-popping 6-foot-4, 160-pounds, started his day off with one of the top rounds of BP, where the left-handed hitter sets up narrow with relaxed hands, before delivering a whippy barrel to backspin the baseball up the middle of the field. Schreiber registered some of the day's best batted ball numbers as he averaged an exit velocity of 81.1 mph, with his highest being 85.5 mph. On the mound is where Schreiber really projects, and despite his extra-long limbs, coupled with his young age, he syncs them up surprisingly well to deliver fastballs in the 79-80 mph range, with his highest being 80.7 mph. As for his offspeeds he featured a 10/4 breaking ball with depth, and a changeup that played with some heavy run to his arm-side.
Body: 6-4, 160-pounds. Long levers, wiry, projectable.
Delivery: Deliberate tempo, high leg-lift into a slightly coiled balance point, tall/fall down the mound, stride works in-line.

FB: T81, 79-80 mph. Life out of the hand with some finish through the zone. T1933, 1755 average rpm.
SL: 62-64 mph. Flashed sharp 10/4 action with depth. T1845, 1715 average rpm.
CH: 72-73 mph. Heavy run to the arm-side. T1618, 1497 average rpm.
