8/13/15 - Verbally committed to Jacksonville.

2/8/15 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound outfielder, long lanky projectable frame, lean build, loose athlete. Defensively showed advanced arm strength (89 mph), arm played even better than velo, stayed online and carried well, high accurate, over the top slot, quick arm and release. Attacks the ball well, advanced actions playing through the baseball, quick clean exchange, feet work well, gets through the ball quickly. 7.28 runner in the 60. Right-handed hitter, open stance, smooth loading action, short stride, very balanced, mechanically sound. Good approach, has a presence in the box, excellent bat speed, some pull side tendencies with occasional pop, loose hands work well. 83 mph exit velocity from the tee. Like his upside, easy athlete with projectable frame.

2/9/14 - Slender build, 6-foot-1, 165-pound outfielder. Excellent defensively actions for his age, plays through the baseball well with an efficient crow hop. Arm produces carry, loose arm action, over the top slot. 85 mph arm strength from the outfield. Offensively has loose hands and creates bat speed. Hits out of balanced setup, rhythmic loading action, short stride. Bat path is short, producing line drives, athletic hands. Walker is a long athlete and the more strength he adds the better he will get.

7/23/13 - 6-foot, 160-pound outfielder, athletic build with a lanky frame. Offensively hits from a balanced stance, short stride, lower half works well. Stays flat through the zone, creates barrel whip, level path, gets extension through contact, gap to gap type hitter. Defensively plays through the baseball athletically, fluid footwork, showed the ability to back on the baseball at a high level. Traditional outfield arm action, over the top, loose arm, shows some carry, 81 mph from the outfield. Walker also showed above average foot speed getting down the line at 4.44.

1/27/13 - Lanky frame, athletic build, 6-foot, 155-pound outfielder. Defensively shows athletic feet,  excellent crow hop, shows well above average athleticism. Arm action is loose, works from a high ¾ arm slot, 80 mph arm strength from the outfield. High level outfield actions, advanced outfielder for age. Offensively hits from slightly open stance, balanced setup, short stride. Load is choppy, hands work, quick hands to the ball, bat path is short and level, line drive approach, gets some extension. Very projectable outfielder with upside.
