Currently ranked No. 7 in Colorado's 2019 rankings. A 6-foot-2, 180-pound right hand hitting RHP/OF. On the mound he stands tall and gets balanced.  Strong lower leg drive to the plate and stays in-line on his delivery.  Arm speed stays consistent on all three pitches.  Delivery is from a high ¾ arm slot.  Fastball was 89-91 mph touching 92 twice with command down in the zone.  He added a 71 MPH Curve with sharp 11/5 break and finished with a 79-81 MPH Change with late down movement. Came in relief and pitched 5 innings and scattered 6 hits, walked one and struck out 5.

A 6-foot-2, 180-pound right hand hitting RHP/OF. At the plate he hits from a balanced stance with a slow load on the pitch.  Good lower leg drive on the swing.  Hands come through the zone and create good whip.  Exit velocity was 88 MPH. On the mound he stands tall and gets balanced.  Strong lower leg drive to the plate and stays in-line on his delivery.  Arm speed stays consistent on all three pitches.  Delivery is from a high ¾ arm slot.  Fastball was 89 MPH with command down in the zone.  He added a 71 MPH Curve with sharp 11/5 break and finished with a 77 MPH Change with late down movement.

2019 RHP/OF Eric McKnight of Heritage HS, 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, bats and throws right. McKnight impressed offensively and on the mound. Big strong player. Stands tall at the plate, barrel is long through extension. Power potential. 88 mph exit velo off the tee. On the mound was impressive. Fastball sat 87-89, up from 86-88 in PBR Atkinson Memorial Tournament in August. Effortless delivery with more room to grow. High 3/4 arm slot, square to the plate and inline. Consistent lower 90's potential is soon on horizon. Good three-pitch mix. Curve sat 70-71 mph with late 11/5 depth. Good variance on change. Same arm speed as fastball sitting 77-78 mph. One of the top pitchers in the 2019 Colorado class.

Recently saw McKnight pitch  in the PBR Colorado Atkinson Memorial, and Slammers Labor Day tournament. In the Atkinson Memorial, the 6-foot-2, 180-pound right hand pitcher went 5 scoreless innings for Colorado Khaos. Effortless delivery with good command of the strike zone. Throws from 3/4 arm slot, lulls you to sleep.  Fastball was 86-88 MPH and he finished the day with 6 K's. To see video click here. In the Slammers Labor Day tourney, McKnight was impressive in 5 innings of work against WYCO. Fastball lived 86-87 mph all five innings giving up 2 runs. Touched 89. Throws a 72-73 mph change in which he caught two batters looking on.  To see video click here
