On Sunday, Jan. 13, we hosted the Unsigned Senior Showcase at The MAX sports facility in McCook, Ill. Today, we’ll continue our event coverage by dissecting the showcase’s statistical standouts. On Monday, we published a Quick Hits post, providing some rapid reactions to the prospects in attendance. Keep an eye out in the coming weeks when we break down the day’s performers, position by position.

Looking at the 60-yard dash, Randy Johnson (Lincoln-Way East, 2019) was the gold standard. He ran a 6.90 and was the only sub-7.00 runner of the event.

Tyler Statler (Hononegah, 2019), a SEMO commit, eclipsed the 90-mph mark on the mound -- the only one to do so. Logan Ryan (Glenbard West, 2019) and Ethan Peterson (Grayslake Central, 2019) also posted mid-to-upper-80's fastballs, capping off the leaderboard.

Logan Miller (Hiland (OH), 2019), topped the exit velocity list at 100. Following closely behind was Joseph Selvaggio (Lincoln-Way East, 2019) at 97.

Sammy Sabatello (Barrington, 2019) and his 87-mph toss from the outfield held up to be the strongest of the showcase. Anthony LoCicero, the Wisconsin native, appears on the leaderboard with his 83-mph showing.

Donald Stricklin (New Trier, 2019) flashed a 1.97-2.14 pop time range behind the dish, narrowly topping the runner up. Nathan Sanchez (Lake View, 2019) doubles on our catcher boards with a solid pop time, 2.02-2.15, and a 75-mph toss to second. Camden Bailey (Sterling, 2019) had a good day behind the plate, as well, posting a range of 2.11-2.25 and having the strongest catcher velocity at 79 mph.
