On Oct. 15, PBR Illinois hosted the fall’s Underclass Showcase at The MAX in McCook, Ill., where nearly 60 prospects participated. This was an open event for the 2026 and 2027 classes, and it gave our staff an opportunity to get a look at these prospects before their spring season.

Max Mackenzie (DePaul College Prep) and Cade Everett (Lincoln Way East) are two right-handed hitting 2026 outfielders that had noteworthy days but just missed the cut below.
