Our Western New York All-Star Games at Brockport will be held this Sunday September 24, 2017, featuring 65 players split into 4 teams. Today we look at the outfielders that will be in attendance and what to expect:

Western NY All-Star Games / Outfielders

Drew Bristow OF / OF / Cicero-North Syracuse, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:35 POS:5 Balanced, controlled approach at the plate. Equaled his previous best exit velocity last week at Marist (86 MPH), accurate arm and 6.69-6.8 runner.

 

Ben Sousa OF / C / Honeoye Falls-Lima, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:148 POS:23 Scrappy RHH at 5-foot-5 135 pounds with a high motor. Short, line drive stroke; 6.82 runner in the 60.

 

Jacob Marshall RHP / OF / Baldwinsville , NY / 2019 First time attendee at 6-foot-5 175 pounds, will also see time on the mound.

 

Drew Bailey OF / RHP / McQuaid Jesuit, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:64 POS:9 On the rise OF, who's been 81 MPH from the outfield with a 90 MPH exit velocity this past summer. Full frame at 6-foot-3 187 pounds. Excited to see him again.

 

Robert Galusha OF / OF / Jamesville Dewitt, NY / 2019 Athletic RHH outfielder with and accurate arm. Balancd, line drive approach at the plate.

 

Tyler Curtis OF / RHP / Greece Athena, NY / 2020 First time attendee at 6-foot-0 155 pounds. Also plays for the Rochester Roughriders.

 

Cameron Lott OF / 1B / Portville , NY / 2019 Left-handed hitter at 5-foot-11 140 pounds. First time attendee that also plays for the Northeast Twins.

 

Nick Crandall OF / RHP / Olean, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:181 POS:30 Wiry strong at 5-foot-9 145 pounds. Accurate, online throws with an 80 MPH arm from the OF with 82 MPH exit velocity from a spread stance; line drive stroke.

 

William Kindl OF / LHP / Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake , NY / 2020 5-foot-9 left-handed hitter attending for the first time. Also plays for the NY Storm.

 

Joseph Gaeta OF / 2B / Fayetteville-Manlius, NY / 2020 First time attendee. 6-foot-0 172 pound RHH that also plays for the Syracuse Sportszone.

 

Josh Battaglia OF / Hilton, NY / 2019 Compact 5-foot-6 frame with a quiet approach at the plate with good plate coverage.

 

William Schmidtt OF / 1B / Fredonia , NY / 2019 6-foot-3 176 pound right-handed hitter; first time attendee. Also plays for the Academy Stars.

 

Caine Gregoire C / 1B / St Francis, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:107 POS:15 Primarily a catcher but will see time in the outfield this Sunday. Physical 5-foot-11 205 pound RHH with some lift to his pull side (91 MPH exit velocity).

 

Thurman Thomas OF / Canisius, NY / 2020 Rankings  State Rank:63 POS:10 Fundamentally sound outfielder at 5-foot-10 190 pounds with a strong lower half. Balanced approach at the plate with some explosiveness through the zone (88 MPH exit velocity).

 

Kyle Wayman OF / RHP / Horseheads, NY / 2020 Rankings  State Rank:52 POS:9 Wiry frame at 6-foot-1 170 pounds; has shown some carry from the outfield (79 MPH arm). Flat plane swing path with some lift in his finish.

 

Shane Harisis OF / SS / East Irondequoit/ Eastridge , NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:200 POS:32 Athletic 5-foot-10 160 pounds with aggressive swings from the right side. Adequate carry from the outfield at 78 MPH arm strength.
