As the dust (or snow) starts to settle in here in New York, let's take a look back at our two week stretch of events from February 11th through February 25th. Eighty-six outfielders worked out; 28 eclipsed the 80 MPH mark. Here are the 11 players that registered 84 MPH or better from the outfield. 

87 MPH

Jack Migliore OF / RHP / Hamburg, NY / 2019 The Western NY player was atop the leader board in several areas, the Future Games attendee ran a winter's best 6.54 60 and had an 95 MPH exit velocity.

 

Robert Ray OF / LHP / Bayport Bluepoint, NY / 2018 Uncommitted 2018 grad has improved on his numbers at nearly every event he's ever attended. The Long Island resident was also 83-85 MPH on the mound.

 

Matthew McHale OF / RHP / Arkport , NY / 2020 Ultra-aggressive player from western NY that ran a 4.25 home-to-1B and had an 86 MPH exit velocity.

Pierce Hendershot OF / 3B / Tioga Central, NY / 2019 PBR-NY veteran and Future Games attendee set personal bests in the arm strength department and with a much improved 7.05 60. Southern Tier resident was 82 MPH on the infield and had a 92 MPH exit velocity.

 

Kelvin Marte OF / LHP / Middletown , NY / 2020 Newcomer to PBR-NY events but a player we've had our eyes on did not disappoint. The Hudson Valley resident had an 89 MPH exit velocity and was impressive on the mound sitting 82-84 with three pitch command.

Luke Harder OF / LHP / Liverpool, NY / 2019 The central NY player put up a personal best (up 6 MPH) from the outfield at our Preseason-Downstate event.

Kyle Rausch OF / RHP / Longwood , NY / 2019 The Long Island player had an all-around impressive day back on February 23rd posting a 95 MPH exit velocity and a 4.01 home-to-1B time.

 

Aidan Curry OF / SS / Fordham Prep, NY / 2020 Curry, the Westchester County resident who attends Fordham Prep in the Bronx, also posted an 84 MPH exit velocity and worked out on the infield.

 

Eric Yost SS / RHP / Fordham Prep, NY / 2020 Yost, like Curry, a Westchester resident attending Fordham Prep posted an 83 MPH exit velocity and was also 80 MPH across the diamond on the infield.

 

Jason Castillo OF / RHP / Salesian , NY / 2020 The Yonkers resident who attends Salesian in the Bronx continues to impress. He also posted an 80 MPH exit velocity was was 78-80 MPH on the mound with a sharp 12-6 CB.
