June 25-27, 2018 (NYS Games)

60 Yard Dash:
6.7
Exit Velocity:
96
Positional Arm:
85
Above average frame, athletic build, ran an impressive 6.7 60-yard dash, very toolsy player . Aggressive defensively, clean glove transfer, arm-action is easy and clean, above average arm strength, with carry to the bag. Slight open stance at the plate. Quick hands and above average plate coverage, compact and direct to ball. Repeats the swing path with low effort but power results. 96 mph exit velo. Big Frame on the mound, very balanced in delivery. Peak FB: 80, FB: 75-77, CB: 64-66.
Preseason - West (February 19, 2018)
Standing a lean but strong and athletic 6-foot-0, 185-pounds, Migliore impressed Feb. 19 in several phases of the game. No stranger to PBR the 2019 WNY standout had the best outfield velocity on the day at 87 mph and 60-time at 6.54. In the box he's super relaxed, easy loose setup, short to the ball, low effort but generates high-level bat-speed with gap-to-gap power (95 mph exit velocity), very fluid throughout entire swing path. Defensively, he's one of the top OF's in the 2019 class. Athletic ability is premium, arm-strength and accuracy both top-flight, and his baseball-motor on the field rivals any V8 on the road. Love watching him compete and we look forward to seeing him this spring/summer.
Future Games (Aug 2-5, 2017)
NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)
Athletic, 6-foot, 178-pound outfielder with potential, ran a 6.98/60. Offensively - effective load, short to the ball, smooth and fluid swing, effortlessly brings bat through the strike zone on a level path with exit velocity of 93 MPH, repeatable motion, room for counter rotation between upper and lower torso to add to power. Defensively - clean and efficient setup, easily generates momentum, sure hands, smooth transfer, accurate arm at 84 MPH.
Preseason All-State (February 20, 2017)
Migliore stands in at 6-foot-0, 176-pounds with a lean athletic frame. Ran a 6.80 – 60; improved from a 7.05 recorded time in February 2016. Offensively- Righty sets up square to the pitcher with his feet just outside shoulder width. Shows a little knee bend with an upright torso holding his hands in front of the back shoulder using little pre-pitch bat movement prior to delivery. On pitch his trigger is a quiet step forward while his hands move back into a good hitting position. Has quick hands to the hitting zone with a level barrel path throughout into a high two handed finish. Has a good lower half getting entire body frame into the swing keep the front side closed off and getting the hips through. Demonstrated consistent contact hitting the ball hard up the middle and pull side. Has a quiet and smooth swing that looks effortless. Recorded an impressive exit velocity of 95 MPH, a 5 MPH improvement from June 2016. Defensively- Shows athletic footwork getting to the baseball. Plenty of aggression with his approach but works into a running shuffle taking a few extra steps vs. a more efficient crowhop.. His arm swing could be longer to generate more power with a higher release. Showed accuracy and good velocity on throws into infield and can improve with a higher release point and strength development. Recorded a positional arm velocity of 81 MPH, a 3 MPH improvement from June 2016. Tools and foundation are there, with some fine tuning and game experience, he’ll reach his ceiling.
New York Games (June 27-29, 2016)
Stands 5-foot-10, 170-pounds with a long lean frame. Ran a 6.8 60-yard dash, popped a 90-mph exit velocity and threw it 78-mph from the OF. With a projectable frame that's not even close to fully developed yet and tools across the board, he looks to be one of the premier players in the 2019 class in our state. Offensively- Sets up with a wide base and uses a small direct step forward, leaks front side slightly at times but with clean bat path and great hands is able to constantly put the barrel on the ball. Knows how to use his above average speed to his advantage also showing great ability to bunt and leg out infield singles. Defensively- Shows athletic ability to be a strong defender. Sets up behind the ball and works through it aggressively. With high end physical ability for a 2019, this will be one that coaches keep a close eye on over the next year coming into his sophomore season.

Preseason All-State (February 28, 2016)
Jack is an athletic 5-foot-10 170 pound outfielder/RHP who ran a 7.05 60 and a 4.20 home-to-1B. Offensively- Jack starts in an even stance with his hand position just off his back shoulder and a 30 degree bat angle. Slides his hands back slightly for his load and uses a forward stride, staying even with his feet. Gets through with his lower half and stays inside contact with his lead arm. Bat levels pre-contact and stays flat through the zone with decent extension. Line drive contact middle of the field to his pull side. Repeats efforts. Exit velocity was an impressive 85 MPH for the 2019 grad. Defensively- Jack hung back a bit with his approach into the flyballs. Received everything in a flat footed position and tried to accelerate from that point. His outdoor videos showed a better approach with more momentum. Showed better aggression when the ball was on the ground and he was recieving outside his glove side foot. Arm strength was 75 MPH with more to be had. Pitching- On the mound Jack works from the extreme arm side of the rubber with a long and over the top arm action. Deliberate with his windup to a belt high balance point. Stays closed into his landing and gets up and over his front side well. Would like to see arm accelerated earlier on to provide better whip through his extension. FB sat 73-75 MPH, touching 76 MPH with some heavy downward action. Curveball had some 12-to-6 shape with some early roll to it at 62-63 MPH. Change up needs more feel but showed acceptable differential at 65-67 MPH. High ceiling on the mound, with some refinement will be a dual position prospect.
WNY All-Star Games (August 27, 2015)
Stands at 5-foot-10, 160 pounds, with a lean athletic body build.  He ran a 4.02 Home to 1st from the right-hand side. Defensively-  He has a smooth approach through the ball, with smooth, soft, quick hands, throws with a clean loose action, plays through the ball nicely and has accuracy on the target.  He gets in good position when catching a fly ball with good transition into the throw.  His arm strength was at 71 MPHOffensively- At the plate his setup is relaxed, athletic, and balanced stance, short stride, with a minimal back load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging on a level plane with long/full extension through the ball.  His exit velocity was 78 MPH.
