Physical: Strong / athletic 5-foot-9, 170-pound frame with plenty of feel for his body. Mature in all phases / Notre Dame commit. 7.02 runner in the 60-yard dash. 

Offensively: RHH. Wide, balanced stance with bent knees in the setup as the hands showed an idle start above the shoulder. Utilized a controlled leg-lift stride to initiate a flat barrel path into the hitting zone, generated lots of sink into a powerful lower half creating advanced hip shoulder separation at the plate as well as allowing the hands to get on plane early and often. Demonstrated a mostly pull-side approach peppering the LCF gap with hard contact at the front of the plate, hit into a stiff front side with adjustability in the lower half. Registered a 30% hard hit rate per Trackman Baseball / peak bat exit velocity of 92 mph. The RHH’s top batted ball distance was 336 feet to the LF wall. Mature approach in game action and consistently gets his swing off at the front of the plate, doesn’t get cheated and knows how to situationally hit. Increased power expected in the near future / tough out at the plate. 

Defensively: The primary shortstop featured quick lateral movements with a medium-low center of gravity showing a quick first step and soft glove hand that played out in front of the left side of his body. Was able to range in either direction beating the ball to the spot with natural instincts and above average pace from the left side of the diamond. Quick catch and throw skills from a high ¾ slot (moderate arm circle). Will stick at shortstop moving forward with more than enough arm strength. INF - 87 mph

Physical: 5-foot-9, 165 pounds; Lean athletic build. 7.00 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced; consistently on time. Leg kick but doesn't waste time putting it back down which helps him create consistent barrels with flat and long through extension; 25 degree bat angle into the zone via Blast Motion. Miller is able to produce 17.3 G’s of force with an on-plane efficiency of 72%.  Line drive to gap power, projects as a future power threat at the next level with continued strength gains; average Trackman exit velocity of 84.77 MPH; peak exit velo was 93 MPH.
Defensively: Athletic stance while standing on balls of his feet; puts himself in a good position by working around the ball. has a feel for smooth transfer that allows him to win the close plays; short arm action that is extremely quick and still generates good arm strength across the diamond.  INF - 88 MPH. 
Pitching: Gets into his lower half well while working straight down the mound. Very simple and quick arm circle that stays at an upper 3/4 to over the top throwing motion. FB: T 85 MPH, 80-83 MPH. Rides through the zone with an average of 16.9" induced vertical break combined with a peak spin of 2292 RPM. CB: 71-73 MPH. has late life with 11/5 movement profile, able to throw as a strike and has potential to be a swing and miss weapon; averages 6.3" of break from release point with an average spin of 2144 RPM.  CH: 73-76 MPH. With depth flashes control with this pitch to be able to throw to RHH and LHH.

Demonstrated a physical 5-foot-9, 165-pound frame with athleticism in his actions and advanced feel for his body. The right-handed hitter begins with a crouched, balanced stance utilizing a knee-knock stride to initiate a twitchy, slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Generated consistent whip through the zone displaying solid hip-shoulder separation allowing for an impressive round of batting practice with hard line-drives to both gaps. Recorded an 82 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.00 60-yard dash. The primary shortstop showcased fluid movements and advanced footwork, routinely beating the ball to the spot creating downhill momentum towards the target. Soft hands played loose out in front and quick transfers yielded an accurate 84 mph arm-strength with carry out of an athletic, high ¾ arm-slot. The right-handed pitcher impressed sitting 83-84 mph with room for more out of an athletic and repeatable, high ¾ arm-slot. With increased lower half drive through release, it’s not hard to imagine a couple ticks will be added to the fastball in the near future. Mixed in a 72-74 mph curveball that played well down in the zone showing 11/5 bite. Featured a quality 76-79 mph changeup thrown with near fastball arm-speed and flashing present arm-side fade. Overall solid day for the Freshman which should put him on the map as a legit two-way prospect primed to get better. 

5-foot-8, 150-pound right-handed hitter stood out in all facets of the game. Miller begins with a square stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Showcased the ability to hit behind the ball consistently during batting practice using his athleticism in the box. He registered an 81 mph bat-exit velocity and recorded an impressive 4.12 home-to-first time. Demonstrated fluid footwork and smooth hands while arriving to the ball on time, displaying accurate 77 mph arm-strength across the infield.  The right-handed pitcher sat 81-82 mph from a high 3/4 arm-slot. Showed feel for a tight 60-63 mph curveball that flashed 11/5 rotation. Commanded a 71-73 mph changeup with arm-side run.

Defensively, hands are soft while working out front and bottom up. Feet work well to baseball. Benefit would be gained from gaining ground on and following throws. Arm strength plays to left side of infield at this age. Overall there are makings of solid left side of infield defender.

Offensively, initiates swing from neutral set up and stride staying neutral. Miller works well away from hands achieving adequate separation. A solid weight shift, backside release and hip turn are present. Swing is short with hands working directly to baseball. Overall swing mechanics are advanced for age.

On mound, Miller works out of mid 3/4 arm slot. There is early transfer of weight from backside and passive drive over front knee. Subtle softness of front knee following landing is present. FB at 71-72 mph had subtle arm side run. Secondary pitches remain work in progress.
