Physical: 6-2, 210 pounds; Broad shouldered, muscular build. 7.80 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with a moderate leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a moderate swing path with a two handed finish. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 88.00 MPH via Trackman. Some juice and flow behind the swing plane. Blast Motion scores show average across the board 55-55-47 along with an on-plane efficiency and attack angle above-average bode well for the swing moving forward.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; utilizing a traditional primary position while utilizing a quick first step. Hands work through the ball while standing up during transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. 2.11-2.19 pop times. C - 73.00 MPH. INF - 67.00 MPH. Consistent with his lower and upper half throwdown mechanics, consistently put the throws on the bag, arm strength development would lower pop times.
9/18/21
Body: 6-2, 200-pounds. Strong build with present strength throughout, presence behind the plate, room for athletic fine-tuning. Hit: RHH. Relaxed in the box, athletic bend in the knees and hips, glide load, one and two hand finish. Showed significant pull side pop and mashed a HomeRun in batting practice. Power: 92 mph max exit velocity Arm: RH. C - 72.00 mph. INF - 73.00 mph. Reacts to steals instead of cheats to the side, trusts his short arm swing and quick release to work with average pop time, 4/5 on throws to second. Defense: 1.99-2.04 pop times. Good presence behind the dish both physically and vocally. Sits low, drop knee at times for location purposes. Struggled in the infield portion but could progress at first base. Run: 7.83 runner in the 60.

PBR NORTHERN CA UNDERCLASS GAMES
Body: 6-foot-0, 195-pounds. Sturdy frame, presently physical body type, has physical presence Hit: RHH. Hitter-ish presence in the box, erect set-up, handsy swing w/plenty of power potential, aggressive lower body movements to access power from feet up through hips, modified knee lift load with aggressive stride sometimes can make eyes bounce a bit and create contact just off the barrel, ample hand speed and w/more consistent barrel timing and top hand finish the power potential should emerge quite clearly. Hand strength is excellent. Both competitive ABs resulted in infield contact vs sliders, so a bit earlier pitch recognition can help him lay off those offerings. Power: 85 mph EV off tee Arm: Catcher velo - 73 - As feet calmed down & worked in better coordination w/his arm the throws had more carry and life to the bag. Good arm, consistent mechanics will allow even more power to come out of the arm as he develops. Trusting that his arm strength is enough will be a good step to calming down the feet and syncing up the whole delivery. Defense: 2.08-2.17 Pop-times - See arm notes; worked extremely hard to block MANY BIDs, big strong body and some more agility will allow him to shore up the technique a bit, but the hands are strong/soft as a receiver, the work ethic is there, and his toughness was apparent. Can set a little lower to create ability to work below the ball better. Run: 8.13 60-yard
