9/20/19

Athletic and lanky frame at 6 foot 1, 170 pounds with room for growth. Quality first step in the outfield with carry and accuracy on throws. Has a balanced approach at the plate with short stride and rhythm in the swing. Has a level bat path and is gap to gap hitter with some pull side power. Has above average bat speed with 91 exit velo.

8/22/19

Stood out with high athleticism on workout day, running a 6.77 60-yard dash, and registering a 96 mph exit velocity, tops for Team Florida. Loose quick hands play in-game as he singled sharply up the middle. Low, athletic stance, load builds up and hands stay back well. Path is slightly upwards and showed some easy pop especially to the right center gap. Present quickness/fluidity in movements on both sides of the ball. Smooth with good feet and body control in the outfield. Arm is long and athletic at 80 mph. Gets through his throws well.

7/23/19

Uncommitted, he has continued to fill out a long, lean, projectable 6-foot-1, 175 pound frame. Has run better, but has long, athletic strides. Showed a long, loose arm action with all around athleticism in the outfield. Offensively, he a simple, compact setup. A small leg kick, he has a steep path at times, but creates leverage with present bat speed and the ball has times it jumps off of the barrel. This also showed up as the top exit velocity of the day at 93 mph. A very athletic outfielder with a high offensive ceiling.

2/07/19

6-foot-1, 167 pounds he has a lean, projectable frame with present athleticism. Moves through the ball well with athleticism in the outfield, arm will need to improve, but throws were accurate and on-line. Offensively, he has a quiet, simple load. The path is level through the zone, generated consistent line drives. .All around upside with present athleticism and will continue to improve as he matures and adds strength.

8/15/18

Slender athletic build with projection. Still a young body and has plenty of time to mature. Some inconsistencies now but mostly comes from being so young. Overall, promises to be a very good hitter. Hitterish actions, quick bat, gets hands to-and-through well. Has an approach to hit. 88 mph EV. Just have to wait and see how he progresses physically but should square up a lot of balls allowing him to maximize power potential. Fundamentally sound and is in control of his defensive actions. Chance to turn into a pure hitter. Expect him to make a big jump as his body matures.

6/23/18

Athletic, projectable frame standing at 6-foot-1, 160 pounds. Ran a 7.27 60 on this day, but has run a 6.97 in the past and there is present athleticism in his actions. Offensively, he has a wide base and really works well out in front, getting to extension. This creates natural leverage and the exit velocity of 85 mph. There is some rotational action in the swing that takes him out of the zone early at times, but has a feel for the barrell and a frame and tools that should really develop with age.

1/13/18

Currently stands at 6-foot, 155 pounds with a projectable, athletic build. Started off the day by showing off his athleticism with a 6.97 second 60 yard dash time. At the plate he starts from a wide base and rocks back in the box before he starts his swing. When he is short and direct to the ball, he showed gap-to-gap potential with multiple line drives during batting practice along with some pull side pop. Registered an 84 mph exit velocity in the cage. From the outfield, he topped out at 64 mph on his throws to the bag. Obviously he is extremely young and there is a lot of growth to do in the years ahead, but there is currently tools and ability that create a great foundation for the future.
