Right-handed pitcher, started for Normal West and threw all seven innings against the No. 2 ranked team in the state Brother Rice. Final line: 7 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 4 K, BB. Simple delivery, works on-line down the mound. Long draw out of the glove and comes out of a ¾ window. Mainly worked off his fastball/curveball combination. Fastball, arm-side-run, worked mostly away, sat 82-83 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, occasional depth, 65-66 mph.

8/7/18 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound, two-way prospect, athletic, defined build. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, threw a high-volume of strikes. Delivery works on-line, front-toe lands closed with regular effort throughout. Long arm action from a high ¾ slot. Fastball works mostly straight, occasional arm-side-run, sat 81-83 mph, topped at 84. Curveball 12/6 shape, feel, 66-68 mph. Saw a changeup in warmups; maintains arm speed, sinking action, 78 mph. At the plate, right-handed hitter, balanced setup, long stride, level bat path, line-drive approach and present bat strength; 87 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, steady defender, reliable hands, funnels into exchange. Long, quick arm action, high ¾ slot, accurate throws, carried across the diamond and topped at 85 mph.  Ran a 7.65 laser-timed 60.

2.19.18 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound, two-way prospect, with well-proportioned strength in frame. At the plate, right-handed hitter, balanced, wide setup, loads into backside and leg-kick trigger. Long bat path, pull approach and strength through contact; 84 mph exit velocity from a tee. On the infield, receptive hands at times, plays through the baseball, winds up on release; long arm action, high ¾ slot, accurate throws, carry across the diamond at 82 mph. 7.48 runner in the 60. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, repeatable delivery, works on-line, lands slightly closed. Long draw out of the glove, comes out of an over-the-top slot. Fastball, thrown for strikes, works mostly straight, sat 80-82 mph. Curveball, 12/6 shape, slows arm at times, 59-65 mph. Changeup, occasional feel, 70-73 mph.

8.16.16 - 5-foot-10, 170-pound, wiry, projectable, two-way prospect. Offensively, right-handed hitter. Pull approach with a long and level path; exit velocity clocked at 81 mph. Balanced setup, slight pre-pitch load and short stride. Defensively, steady hands and a clean exchange on the infield. Long arm action, ¾ slot and clocked at 75 mph across the diamond. 7.65 runner in the 60. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, tall and fall delivery, regular effort, stays in line and lands slightly closed. Arm works long and out of a high ¾ window. Fastball, thrown for strikes, varying action, occasional cut and flashed run to the arm side at times, sat 77 mph. Curveball flashed 11/5 shape and sat 62-64 mph. Changeup flashed cutting action at times, 69-73 mph.

6.28.16 - 5-foot-10, 170-pound, two-way prospect. Offensively, right-handed hitter, strength through contact; 85 mph exit velocity. Hard contact, ability to backspin and flashed a level path. Balanced setup, short stride, and a gap-to-gap approach. Defensively, steady hands and clean exchange on the field. Loose arm, high ¾ to ¾ slot, accurate throws across the diamond; clocked at 78mph. 7.66 runner in the 60. On the mound, right-handed pitcher with three pitch feel. Tall and fall delivery, stays in line, lands square, finishes athletically, and regular effort throughout. Long arm action out of a high ¾ slot. Fastball works mainly straight, clocked at 77-78 mph. Curveball, flashed feel, 11/5 shape, and sat 60-61 mph. Changeup, good feel, sinking action, 70-72 mph.
