4.18.15 - 6-foot, 190-pound right-handed hitting centerfielder, ranked No. 47 in Illinois’ 2015 class. Plus athlete, strong, running back-type build, plus runner (6.71 laser timed in the 60). Hits from a balanced setup, short stride, short, level bat path. Two singles, one down the third base line, one between third and short, both groundballs. Impresses in the outfield, goes and gets the baseball, solid routes. First time back playing due to hamstring injury, so didn’t see running ability (stole over 50 bases as a junior).

8/18/13 - 6-foot, 185-pound athletic bodied player with solid foot speed.  Ran a 6.82 60. From the outfield he throws with a long arm from a high ¾ slot with solid carry and accuracy at 72 mph. He moved well and worked through the ball athletically. At the plate his stance is wide, and open. He has a smooth load and short stride, using his lower half in explosive fashion. Swing is fluid and balanced, with a short, slightly uphill bat path and above average bat speed. He had an exit velocity of 83 mph off the tee.

1/20/13 - Athletic 6-foot, 175-pound frame, shows strength. Outfield arm action is short, accurate arm (76 mph), athletic feet, 6.94 runner, plays through ball well. Hits from a balanced setup, open stance, short stride, lower half works, lacks extension, good balance throughout, needs more top hand.
