3/25/26
Lindemann batted 4-for-6 with two doubles, one triple, and one home run. He also tallied three RBI, two runs scored, two walks, and one stolen base.
8/05/25

Positional Profile: C/3B
Body: 6-1, 183.2-pounds. Lean, high-waisted frame with some present strength in the lower half.
Hit: RHH. Wide base, medium stride, simple. Easy and balanced swing, loose, worked up the middle of the field,  63.2 mph bat speed with 7g of rotational acceleration.
Power: 88 mph max exit velocity (85.8 avg.); 319-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. C - 74 mph. Compact 3/4 arm action.
Defense: 2.03-2.16 pop time range; One-knee receiver, soft hands, clean transfers, works in-line to second, soft blocker.
Athletic Testing: 8.07 runner in the 60-yard dash; 16.80-inch max vertical jump.
Vizual Edge: 69.35 Edge Score.

5/28/25

Uncommitted. Stands in at a strong 6-foot, 179-pound and still has room for added strength. Gets set in the box with an athletic square setup, knees bent, slight stride into a direct-to-ball, slightly uphill swing. Went 1-for-3 against Collinsville while driving in a run, lining a ball into left in the bottom of the third inning. Also a catcher, Lindemann looks advanced behind the plate and is certainly one to keep an eye on going forward.

5/13/25

Uncommitted. Athletic 6-foot, 179-pound frame with room to add strength. Started behind the plate and hit out of the five-hole. Lindemann showed upside Tuesday night. The right-handed hitter operates from an upright top half with a bend in his knees with a high leg lift. Strong hands with an uphill bat path. Impressed defensively during I/O and during the game. Showed off a strong arm pre-game, which he was able to use to catch a runner stealing at third. Smooth receiver behind the plate with quality blocking abilities. Interesting 2027 catcher to keep an eye on.

2/24/24

Positional Profile: C/3B
Body: 5-11, 176.2-pounds. Some present strength in the lower-half, high-waisted, projectable.
Hit: RHH. Wide base, short stride, repeats. Hands rock back slightly into a steep path, looks to stay on top of the baseball. 63.9 mph bat speed with 11 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 77.2 mph. 293’ max distance.
Arm: RH. C - 75 mph. Medium arm circle in the back, high 3/4 release.
Defense: 2.00-2.07 pop times. Flexible hips, works under the baseball, clean glove-to-hand, not rushed, works in-line out of the chute.
Run: 8.40 runner in the 60.

2/17/24

A member of Team Illinois at the PBR Junior Future Games last summer, C/3B/RHP Brody Lindemann (Belleville East, 2027) continues to be a follow name in the state’s freshman class. Built at a strong 5-foot-11, 176-pounds with room for more, Lindemann worked line drives to the pull-side from a level swing that found the barrel often and should add more impact as he continues to physically develop. On the mound, Lindemann pitched in the low-80s, touching 83 mph, and he spun a 68-70 mph slider at 2400+ RPM on average.

2/17/24

Positional Profile: C/3B
Body: 6-0, 175-pounds. Physical, well-proportioned frame.
Hit: RHH. Balanced base, fluid hand tip load, toe-tap timing trigger. Level path that works uphill at times, one-hand finish, pull-side approach. 60.8 mph bat speed with 8 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 83 max exit velocity, averaged 77.4 mph. 304’ max distance.
Arm: RH. C - 73 mph. INF - 73 mph. Short stroke with some reach on the backside, 3/4 finish.
Defense: 2.09-2.15 pop times. INF: Some bounce pre-pitch. Lower half works around the baseball in rhythm. Steady hands, glove works out front, clean to release. C: Narrow base, feet interchange in line to the bag, steady transfer to release. Worked around the baseball on blocks.
Run: 8.14 runner in the 60.

2/17/24

Positional Profile: C/3B/RHP
Body: 6-0, 175-pounds. Physical, well-proportioned frame.
Delivery: Clean, uptempo mover, medium leg lift, tall/fall delivery, short, in-line stride.
Arm Action: RH. Compact, quick arm action, 3/4 slot.
FB: T83, 80-82 mph. Firm out of the hand, some run. T2392, 2309 average rpm.
SL: 68-69 mph. 11/5 shape, works the bottom half of the zone. T2473, 2404 average rpm
CH: 75-75 mph. Fade and depth, locates low. T1649, 1583 average rpm.
KN: 67-69 mph. Kills spin, feel, plays like a true knuckle ball.

4/12/23

Connor Kenjic (Hobart, IN) and Brody Lindemann (Belleville East) were two of the top catchers who also have ability and stuff on the mound. Both are two-way follows moving forward.

4/12/23

Positional Profile: C/RHP
Body: 6-0, 175-pounds. Strong, sturdy frame.
Hit: RHH. Wide, balanced setup, minimal load. Quick hands, simple swing that repeats.
Power: 79 max exit velocity, averaged 68.5 mph. 263’ max distance.
Arm: RH. C - 70 mph. INF - 76 mph. OF: Clean, loose arm action, over-the-top slot. INF: Short draw into a 3/4 slot with armspeed out front.

Run: 8.70 runner in the 60.

Delivery: Stretch only, controlled leg-lift into a crouched balance point, drop/drive lower-half that works in-line.
Arm Action: RH. Medium arm circle, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T79, 75-79 mph. Arm-side run and sinking action. Had a good feel for the zone. T2316, 2221 average rpm.
SL: 66-67 mph. Thrown with intent/aggression, sharp vertical action. Had controlled feel for the zone. T2373, 2295 average rpm.
CH: 72-72 mph. Thrown with intent, downer action, feel for the bottom of the zone. T2194, 2171 average rpm.
