Louisville commit. Currently ranked No. 2 in the state and No. 51 nationally. Was PBR Illinois Player of the Week to start the 2022 season. Highly-athletic, advanced, 6-foot-2, 175-pound frame, continues to impress out on the field. A right-handed hitting infielder got the start in left field. Balanced stance with smooth rhythm pre-pitch, confident look in the box, short stride. Loose, athletic hands with bat speed, direct to the baseball with extension after contact, gap-to-gap approach with a power swing to the pull side. Crafton’s one hit came in his second at-bat where he barrelled a double off the left center fence to score a run. Defensively, had a quick first step to the baseball with athletic actions in the outfielder. Later moved to shortstop to end the game.

Louisville commit. Highly-athletic, advanced, 6-foot-2, 175-pound frame. One of the top athletes we have seen in the 2024 class to date. Left-handed hitter can play all over the field, including on the mound where he has been up to 84 mph. Future primary position is yet to be determined as he plays a smooth shortstop and looks natural out in center field. Easy range, fluid mover, light on his feet and his arm plays strong for age. Offensively, uneven results throughout the weekend. Confident, calm look in the box. Loose hands, above-average bat speed and uses the middle of the field. High-ceiling prospect in the 2024 class. Final Line: 2-for-7, 2B, 2 BB.
