4.26.18 - Notre Dame commit. Currently ranked No. 6 at position in the Illinois’ 2018 class. 6-foot-1, 195-pound, RHP, well-proportioned frame, athletic body. Utilized present lower-half strength on the mound to generate extension and power translating to an easy high 80’s fastball, which touched 91 mph. Directionally worked down hill and in line with a clean athletic finish, hides the ball well on back side. Loose, short arm action, quick arm out front, repeatable delivery, high ¾ to over the top slot. Fastball had downhill plane at times, firm with some run, sat 87-89 mph. Slider and changeup were his go to ahead in counts. Slider was 79-81 mph with 1/7 shape with depth and arm speed. Feel for change, maintains arm speed and depth down in the zone, sat 80 mph. Took a tough loss going 5.1 innings pitches, allowing only four hits, two earned runs, four walks and five strikeouts.
7.11.17 - Notre Dame commit, Currently ranked No. 17 in the Illinois Class of 2018 and No. 378 in the PBR Overall Ranks. 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed pitcher. Works from an over the top arm angle with a short, quick arm action. Tall and fall delivery working in line with home plate. Some effort to delivery. Fastball was straight at 88-89 topping out at 90 mph. Curveball sat 73-75 mph with short breaking action. Used changeup in warm-ups, straight action.

5.13.17 - Notre Dame recruit. 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed pitcher, lean, athletic frame. Currently ranked No. 15 in Illinois’ 2018 class, No. 318 overall. Works from over the top slot, quick arm, fast hand out front. Pitched most of the game at 86-89 mph, touching 90 in the first inning, along with an often-sharp 77-80 mph slider. After a rough first inning in which he was touched up for two runs on three hits, he yielded only two hits the rest of the way. Finished with a five-hit complete game, and struck out four with two walks.

4.13.17 - Notre Dame recruit. 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed pitcher, lean, athletic frame, looks more physically developed since last look. Currently ranked No. 15 in Illinois’ 2018 class, No. 318 overall. Works from over the top slot, quick arm, fast hand out front. Threw consistent strikes with his fastball-curveball combination. In 5.2 innings, he struck out seven, walked three, hit one batter, yielded four hits and four runs, two of which were earned. Fastball sat 86-88 mph throughout the majority of his outing. Controlled his breaking ball well. Throws it aggressively, fastball arm speed, ranged between 76-78 mph, mostly 12/6 shape, late bite with depth. Rarely flashed upper-70s changeup. Overall calm, confident mound presence. 

9/17/16 - Verbally committed to Notre Dame.
Future Games 2016 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed pitcher, lean athletic frame. Quick, athletic arm from over-the-top slot. Fastball sat 87-88 mph, mostly straight and around the plate. Has steadily increased velocity over the last year; with his advanced arm speed and athleticism, more velocity likely to come as he fills into his frame. Worked predominately off his fastball at the Future Games. Flashed a curveball with 12/6 shape, inconsistent action, short break at 69-70 mph. Also mixed in mid-70s changeup. Yielded two hits in two innings work.

5.4.16 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed pitcher, lean athletic frame. Delivery works on line, higher front side at times, shorter leg lift from the stretch. Live arm, over the top slot, has some length to it, advanced arm speed for his age. Fastball sat 85-87 mph, touched 88  mph, lacked consistent command, mostly straight, slight am side run. Curveball has 12/6 shape, 74-75 mph, average action. Flashed a changeup at 76 mph. Worked 2.2 innings out of the pen, scattered two hits, four runs, one earned and walked four.

1.17.16 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound two-way player, solid average body type, projects best on the mound. Athletic delivery, regular effort. Arm action has length, full arm swing, loose arm, high ¾ slot. Fastball has slight run, sat 82-83 mph, touched 84 mph. Slider showed action at 72-75 mph. Straight changeup with slight sink, 73-75 mph. Defensively showed arm strength across the diamond, 82 mph, over the top slot, long release. Average hands, fields deep, showed body control. 7.99 runner. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, leg lift stride. Path gets extension, 88 mph exit velocity from the tee.
6.11.15 - 5-foot-11, 165-pound athletic two-way player. Defensively has loose and clean arm action, ¾ slot, showed some accuracy, and a clean exchange. Threw 81 mph across the infield. Offensively has balanced setup, loads hands back, short stride, and average balance. Takes uphill path and has average bat speed. Exit velo 77 mph. Ran 7.78 60. On the mound, throws from ¾ slot, quick arm speed, long and loose arm action, with regular effort. Fastball sat 80-81 mph with some sink, slider was 68-70 mph with 11/5 shape, and changeup was 70-71 mph with some sink. Tenuta is a pitcher to follow in the 2018 class.
