Kent State commit. Currently ranked No. 35 in the state. Listed at 5-foot-8, 150-pounds, highly athletic build with some strength throughout. The left-handed hitter served as a spark-plug atop the Lions lineup, finishing the day 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. He has extremely quick hands that work directionally to the ball, attacking early in the count with hard-contact and also demonstrating sneaky pop, nearly leaving the yard on a ball to right-center. He also roams the outfield with well above-average athleticism and jumps, playing a lockdown center field. High-motor athlete that is exciting to watch, can impact the game in multiple ways. 

Kent State commit, currently ranked No. 45 in the Illinois’ 2023 class. 5-foot-6, 150-pound, live-bodied, left/left outfielder. Led off and started in center field. Impacted the game in a number of ways throughout. Defensively, showed advanced range and ability in center field. Tracked down a number of tough fly balls with ease, including a drive to the warning track in deep left-center field. Comfortable ranging in any direction and gets quality reads off the bat. Arm played accurately with carry in pregame I/O. At the plate, prototypical leadoff hitter; stays within himself, short and direct to the ball, uses the whole field with a line-drive approach. Loose, quick hands, flashes bat speed and stays on top of the ball. Doubled down the left-field line in his third at bat. Laid down a bunt in his final at-bat and was 4.07 down-the-line. Also, reached on an error in his second at-bat and was 4.20 down-the-line. Aggressive on the bases, always looking to take the extra 90 feet and stole a base. Plays the game with infectious energy and high-motor. Quality look at one of the top center fielders in the state.

Short compact bat path, balanced approach, line-drive punch and run type hitter, can spray to all fields, above average off the bat for his size. One of his more impressive at bats finished with a line drive up the box against a tough left-on-left matchup.
