Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 21 in the state. Physical, twitchy 6-foot-2, 222-pound frame. Batted fifth and played left field for the Crusaders. A right-handed hitter, he has bat speed and strong hands with evident jump off the barrel. Singled to center field late in the game and advanced to third easily on a defensive miscue, flashing his barrel strength in the process. Showed above-average arm strength during pre-game infield/outfield, though did not get anything hit to him in-game. An uncommitted name to follow in the region.

Physically imposing 6-foot-2, 222-pound frame with proportionate strength throughout. The right-handed hitter delivered the loudest round of the day with a 111 mph max EV, averaging a staggering 104 mph with a 401’ peak distance. The ease it takes to get to his power stands out, and he showed a mature feel to use the middle of the field with a balanced operation that stayed on-time. He took defense in both the infield and outfield, showing steady hands and footwork in each respective spot, pairing with an above-average arm (T91 mph INF; T90 mph OF).

Stanislawski would continue to show a strong right-handed bat ahead of heading down to Georgia for the Future Games. At the plate, presents a tall, balanced base while utilizing a short stride to get into a position to launch with an intentful, strong barrel and bat speed. Defensively got reps all over the diamond and showed developing instincts both on the dirt and on the grass. Strong 6-foot-2, 206-pound frame.

INF Gavin Stanislawski (Brother Rice) is one of the more physical right-handed bats we have on the roster, listed at 6-foot-2, 206-pounds. He moves very well for his size with a 6.74 in the 60, creating a power/speed combination that should create some intrigue. At the plate, he is able to create jump off the barrel while staying short to the ball, and he also has a knack to lift the baseball, peaking at 93 mph for his EV in this look. His BLAST metrics were highly impressive, averaging 78.6 mph for his bat-speed (T86 mph) and 22.2 mph for his hand-speed. GAMEPLAY: Stanislawski had some success at the plate throughout the weekend, finishing at a 4-for-7 clip with a double and three RBIs. Corner infield and corner outfield profile, intriguing power/speed potential.

Uncommitted. Talented sophomore that has two-way upside. Strong mature frame at 6-foot-1, 205-pounds. Passes the eye test immediately. Got on the mound and worked an impressive inning against Mount Carmel. Clean, athletic mover, especially given his size. Fastball played relatively easy out of the hand at 84-85 mph, T86. Breaking ball is well above-average for his age. Big spin at 2550+ rpm, sat 74-77 mph and flashes hard, late action at times. Intriguing quick look at Stanislawski who is one of many high-level underclass follows for the Crusaders.

Gavin Stanislawski, LF, Brother Rice, 2027 Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 11 in the state, No. 215 nationally. 6-foot-1, 205-pound frame, present strength with round shoulders and a developed lower-half. Started in left field and hit out of the eight-hole for Brother Rice, finishing the day 1-for-3 with two runs scored but finding a handful of barrels on the day. The right-handed hitter showed off his easy power with a long fly out to left in his first at-bat, seemingly just flicking the barrel to create loud contact. He showed steady hands in the outfield with athletic actions, moves well for his size with a quick first step. Arm is well above-average with carry and accuracy to his target, plays with clear life. High-follow prospect with big power potential.

Stanislawski took one of the more physical rounds of BP on the day, reaching up to 102.5 mph for his peak EV while averaging over 93 mph (T333’). He also averaged an eye-opening 81.5 mph for his bat-speed with an average hand-speed of 22.2 mph. The right-handed hitter displayed easy strength throughout his round, looking to lift to his pull-side with strong hands, also controlling his body well for his intent level. It is also worth noting that at 6-foot-1, 205-pounds with strength throughout, Stanislawski is a 6.81 runner in the 60. He also showed to be a steady defender on the infield, while reaching a peak velocity of 85 mph across the diamond.

CIF/RHP Gavin Stanislawski (Brother Rice) gave an impressive two-way look at the State Games. Listed at 6-foot-1, 207-pounds, physical with present strength throughout. The right-handed hitter took intentful swings throughout his round of BP and flashed well above-average raw power to his pull-side. His swing is direct and stays through the zone, also showing to be highly repeatable for his age with present bat-speed and strength. His bat continued to play in-game, where he shot a ball into the RF gap for a double. He later hopped on the mound and displayed a quality three-pitch mix; starting with a fastball in the 81-83 mph range with some tilt through the zone. His curveball showed tight, 10/4 action with some feel for the zone, and he also flashed a changeup in the 78-79 mph range with around 13” of run on average. It’s an easy operation on the mound with little perceived effort, and there looks to be more in the tank in the coming years.

Gavin Stanislawski, Anthony Cartolano, Aidan Dillon, Mikey Watson, Jordan Culbreath and Brady Cunningham are just a few 2027s in attendance that showed well and are heading to Brother Rice next year. Of them, Stanislawski had one of the top all-around showings on the day. On the mound, he has a polished repertoire with a clean upside arm and fastball that topped at 82 mph. Stanislawski also had one of the more intriguing swings on the day, working highly-repeatable, short and flat through the zone with a knack for hard contact.

Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, slightly open stance, small toe-tap trigger. Effortless power, whip through the zone with bat-speed, all over the barrel up the middle.

Arm: RH. INF - 79 mph. Loose whippy arm action into a low 3/4, with the ability to throw off platform and on the move.
Defense: Steady defender, plays with ease and body control on the move, sure-hands, clean release.

Delivery: Bouncy, athletic delivery, high leg kick, lands toward home.

Stanislawski was impressive on the mound for Sparks on Saturday. Stanislawski has an athletic and projectable build with much more room to fill out. While on the bump Stanislawksi moves well with a  repeatable and simple delivery that created fastballs up to 74 mph with late life through the zone. He coupled this with a late action breaking ball that was consistently thrown low in the zone for strikes. Overall, Stanislawski oozes confidence on the mound with clean mechanics that will continue to play as he develops.
