At the PBR at The Rock Championships, Cumbee had a big Saturday morning going 3-for-3 with three singles, an RBI, stolen base and two runs scored. On top of his offensive output, Cumbee played an above-average center field, tracking down a number of balls hit his way, with precise reads, quick first step and showed an above-average accurate arm. Right-handed hitter; simple, rhythmic swing, loose hands.
Positional Profile: OF/1B
Body: 5-8, 145-pounds. Lean frame.
Defense: Feet play fluid and in rhythm, clean exchange, plays through the baseball.
Arm: RH. INF - 62 mph. Short arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Hit: RH. Balanced setup, minimal load, short stride to closed. Simple swing, short and uphill path, repeats.
Power: 70 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Run: 7.81 runner in the 60.
