Listed at 5-foot-9, 165-pounds with an athletic build. Fox is a fluid mover down the mound with a loose/whippy arm and low 3/4 slot. He displayed two fastballs throughout his ‘pen, a four-seam with ride (T85 mph; T18.4 IVB) and a sinker that sat around 85-86 mph with up to 22” of horizontal movement. Both his breaking balls play with above-average sweeping action, with the slider coming in at 69-70 mph (-29.8 max HM) and his curveball coming in at 66-70 mph (T-29.5 max HM. His final offering was a changeup at 69-70 mph, thrown for strikes and reaching up to 28.6” of horizontal run.

Clean, repeatable delivery, level shoulders, works in line with his target, square landing, athletic finish. Short draw, high ¾ slot. Fastball touched 85 mph, sat between 82-84 mph with run. Curveball showed 10/4 shape, hard bite, played at 67-70 mph. High-follow in the Illinois 2021 class. 

5-foot-9, 155-pound right-handed pitcher, athletic and durable build. Methodical tempo till foot strike, sturdy balance, sits on back side, lands slightly open with toe square to home, some upright recoil after release. Full arm swing, uninterrupted and clean, loose and quick out front, arm strength potential, high ¾ slot, regular effort. Fastball, mostly straight, occasional cut, thrown for strikes, sat 82-84 mph, topped 85 mph. Curveball, 10/4 shape, slowed arm, 63-65 mph. Changeup, faded to his arm side, hard at times, 71-74 mph.

10.21.18 - 5-foot-9, 155-pound, right-handed pitcher, athleticism in frame. Quick foot turn to tall balance point, slight sit on back side, strides short and online to home, upright finish. Full arm swing with easy arm speed, looseness in action, high ¾ slot, effort is easy. Fastball, late sink in the zone, feel for the corners, 82-84 mph, topped 85 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, rolls in, 59-64 mph. Changeup, faded at 72-74 mph.

Loose, quick arm action from a high ¾ slot with easy effort throughout. Fastball, ball comes out of the hand easy, slight arm-side-run, sat 79-80 mph, touched 83. Curveball, 11/5 shape, depth, ranged between 61-66 mph. Changeup, maintains arm speed at times, fade and sink action, 68-71 mph. At the plate, right-handed hitter, balanced setup, leg-lift timing trigger, long, uphill bat path and a pull approach. Exit velocity clocked at 79 mph from a tee. On the infield, long, loose arm action, low ¾ slot and throws topped at 77 mph across the infield. 7.61 runner in the 60.
