He ran a 6.96 60, after posting a 7.21 60 in Rantoul, and also improved his infield velocity by 11 mph, topping out at 85 mph this past weekend. Escobarete presents the glove early, utilizing a two-hand gather out front, playing through the ball with natural actions and quick feet. At the plate, the right-handed hitter worked with a short, direct path to the baseball, staying on top of the ball throughout his round with athletic hands.
