Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, pre-pitch movement in hands, smooth load, quick leg kick trigger, drives lower half. Short, uphill path through the zone to contact, flashed power to the pull-side.
Power: 84 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. C - 77 mph. Short arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: 2.05-2.20 pop times. Clean exchange, repeatable, accurate throws around the bag, adept blocker.
Run: 7.57 runner in the 60.

Currently ranked No. 28 in the Illinois’ 2021 class. 6-foot-1, 180-pound, well-proportioned, strong, right-handed hitting catcher. Started at catcher and hit in the six-hole. Took competitive at-bats throughout. Strong hands, present bat strength, swing has length, gap-to-gap approach. Lined out sharply to third base in his first at-bat. Tripled to center field and singled to left-center field.  Finished the day 2-for-5 with a triple and three RBI. Defensively, advanced blocker, soft, agile, deadens ball in front of body. Soft, receptive hands, handled a number of different arms throughout the day. Clean out of the chute, also athletic enough to throw from his knees. Throws were inconsistent in between innings; flashed a strong, true arm at times. Follow 2021 catcher.

2.17.19 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed hitting catcher, well-proportioned frame, athletic build and actions. At the plate, balanced setup, smooth loading action with slight bar, knee lift timing trigger, engaged lower half, maintains control. Confident in the box, loose hands with strength, direct to the ball, extends through contact, fluid line drive hitter. Quick bat speed, exit velocity topped 90 mph from a tee. Defensively, quick out the chute, pop times ranged 2.01-2.12. Soft hands, advanced receiver, athletic, plus footwork, fast transfer to release, gets shoulders turned to throw, deadens blocks. Short and loose arm action, high ¾ slot, 79 mph from the crouch, an event best. 7.37 runner in the 60.

2.19.18 - 6-foot, 160-pound, well-proportioned, athletic, right-handed hitting catching prospect. Advanced defensive catcher for his age. Athletic, wide setup behind the plate. Stays quiet, presents pitches well, sticks balls in the zone, agile, soft blocker. Natural catcher actions, clean, quick transfer, easy effort. Loose arm, over-the-top slot, clocked at 72 mph from the crouch. Pop times ranged from 2.11-2.19. At the plate, balance setup, pre-pitch load, short stride. Uphill path, inconsistent timing but when it syncs up the ball jumps off the bat. Exit velocity clocked at 81 mph off a tee. Ran a 7.71 laser timed 60.

1.15.18 - 6-foot, 160-pound catcher/infielder, lean athletic body that projects. Defensively showed promise behind the plate, arm action is short and over the top, 70 mph out of the crouch, played at 73 mph across the infield. Occasionally showed quick catch and release skills, pop times ranged 2.18-2.33. Right-handed hitter, athletic setup, slight arm bar load, short stride, maintains balance. Path is level showed extension, creates line drive contact. 80 mph exit velocity from the tee.
