FR RHP Joseph Catalano (Williamsville) is a projectable right-hander to know for the Cavs, listed at a lean 6-foot-3, 175-pounds with plenty of room to fill out. Long-levered operation, loose mover that stays in-line, high ¾ release point. Fastball sat 82-85 mph, topping out at 86 mph with noticeable carry through the zone, averaging 21.4 for his IVB (T24.4). His curveball played with over the top action and depth at 65-67 mph, landing it for some strikes. Slider showed more horizontal action and shorter shape in the 68-70 mph range, feel for the zone. His final offering was a splitter that he killed spin on, 72-75 mph, mostly straight action.

Delivery: Stretch-only, high leg lift, tall/fall, light effort that works in-line.
Arm Action: RH. 3/4 slot, long, repeatable.
FB: T84, 80-83 mph. Commands well, sneaky fastball that takes little effort. T2404, 2182 average rpm.
CB: 69-71 mph. 11/5 shape, has depth. T2209, 2098 average rpm.
CH: 72-74 mph. Kills spin, heavy arm-side run, some fade at times. T1673, 1594 average rpm

INF/RHP Joseph Catalano (Williamsville, 2024) was another frame that stood out on the day, listed at 6-foot-3, 185-pounds, with long levers and some strength throughout. He has a simple, quiet right-handed swing that repeated, stayed on plane and flashed sneaky jump off the barrel, peaking at 93 mph. He also moved around well on the infield, topping at 83 mph, as well as 83.3 mph on the mound.
