RHP Mason Jurewicz (New Trier, 2025) put up some quality metrics throughout his ‘pen. The projectable right-hander stands in a lean, 6-foot-2, 160-pound frame and he has plenty of room to add on strength in the coming years. He has a methodical delivery, working with a drop/drive lower-half down the mound with a closed stride. His arm is longer in the back but remains loose and clean, delivering his arsenal from a ¾ slot. His fastball played in the 81-84 mph range with life out of the hand, routinely spinning over 2,300 rpm with carry. His curveball also has quality spin, working over 2,300 rpm at times as well with some sweep and 10/4 action. His slider played with tighter action at times but also came through the zone with lateral shape, 74-75 mph. His final offering was a heavy fading changeup at 74-77 mph.

RHP Mason Jurewicz (New Trier, 2025) provided a high-upside look out of the bullpen for Top Tier on Saturday. Jurewicz stands at a projectable 6-foot-2, 150-pound frame with long levers. The right-hander displayed a clean, high 3/4 arm action that appeared effortless at times. Jurewicz’s fastball played up in the zone sitting 80-83 mph. He often went to a 12/6 curveball that was thrown for strikes and got swings and misses.

Delivery: Side steps to a tall balance point before working downhill in a drop/drive pattern, twitchy hip/shoulder separation at foot strike with advanced extension, finishes onto a strong lead leg. Twitchy athleticism.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm swing out the glove, finishes from a high 3/4 slot.
FB: T82.8, 80-83 mph. Plays down in the zone to the arm-side corner of the plate. Spins at an advanced rate. T2630, 2480 average rpm.
CB: 69-70 mph. Thrown with conviction, power-type pitch. 11/5 shape with downer spin. T2242, 2077 average rpm.
CH: 75-78 mph. Mostly straight, some strikes.  T2137, 1885 average rpm.
