3.29.17 - Georgetown commit. Currently ranked No. 45 in the Illinois 2017 class. 6-foot-4, 193-pound, strong, durable, athletically built, right-handed pitcher.  Started on the mound for Fenwick. Athletic delivery, regular effort, slightly closed landing, occasionally falls off towards first base bag. Loose, live arm action from a high ¾ slot. Struck out the first five batters to start the game behind a fastball that flashed late life, sat 86-87 mph, and touched 90 in the first. Commanded his fastball to the glove side early on in the start, became more erratic in the zone as his start wore on. Went to his offspeed sparingly. Final Line: 4 IP, 2 H, 0ER, 5 K, BB.

9/3/16 - Verbally commits to Georgetown.

Slider has 10/4 action, gradual sweeping action, 69-72 mph, showed feel. Changeup thrown with fastball arm speed, sinking action to arm side, ability to throw for strikes, 71-76 mph.

3/13/16 - Lean frame, 6-foot-4, 193-pound right-handed pitcher, projectable build. Delivery has regular effort, tall and fall delivery with tempo, some recoil finish. Arm action is loose, full swing, high ¾ slot. Fastball is straight, four seam type, 86-88 mph, firm finish through the zone. Curveball has 11/5 shape, slight sweep, 71-75 mph. Changeup showed feel, near fastball arm speed, 75-76 mph. High follow uncommitted 2017.
9.5.15 - sat 80-82 in the first two innings, and settled in at 77-80 after the third inning. He also threw a 67-68 mph breaking ball.
2.16.15 - 6-foot-3, 178-pound, right-handed pitcher. On the mound works from a ¾ arm angle with a short arm action, and a quick arm. Tall at balance point with some effort. Drop and drive, online delivery with a square landing. Good balance throughout with a little stiffness. Fastball sat 83-85 topping out at 86 mph. Slider with short break sat 78-80 mph. Maintained arm speed on changeup that showed some sink at 75-78 mph.
7/14/14 - Highly projectable 6-foot-3, 165-pound right-handed pitcher; lanky, athletic frame, long limbs with plenty of room for physical development. Works from high three-quarter slot, short arm action, quick, loose and athletic. Fastball topped at 80 mph, sitting in 77-78 range, with occasional arm side run and sink. As he fills into frame, should develop more natural velocity. Breaking ball flashed 11/5 shape, ranging between 68-72 mph. Also threw a changeup ranging between 66-69 mph. Overall, Stupinski looks to be one of the more projectable 2017 pitchers we’ve seen thus far. High-follow prospect.

2/17/14 - Long frame, slender build, wiry 6-foot-2, 165-pound right handed pitcher, highly projectable frame. One of the top freshman at the showcase. Delivery works online, stays balanced and level throughout, slower tempo to explosive release. Arm action is quick, advanced arm speed for age, high ¾ arm slot, short loose arm action. Fastball has slight running action, showed control of the baseball. 78-80 mph. Displayed an advanced cut fastball for age, 73-74 mph, showed true cutting action, well above average feel for the pitch. Changeup has fade, showed excellent control of it, ranged from 66-71 mph. Stupinski looks to be the prototypical young lanky pitcher with a quick arm who should project well going forward.
3/11/12 Stupinski is a 5-foot-11, 130-pound two-way player who impressed in all facets of the game.  Defensively, Stupinski showed athletic feet and good range at third base.  He has an accurate arm (68 mph) from across the diamond.  He showed soft hands and played the ball on the run well.  At the plate, Stupinski has a balanced setup and a level, line-drive swing.  He creates good whip and extension through his swing.  On the mound, Stupinski has a quick arm action and throws from over the top slot.  He threw two pitches; a 67-70 mph fastball with slight action and a 58-60 mph changeup.
