5/23/25
Indiana State commit, currently ranked the No. 51 player in the state’s senior class. Lean 6-foot, 180-pound frame with athleticism present. Roberts got the start on the mound for the Warriors, tossing a complete game with only one earned run allowed in a tight pitcher’s duel. Consistently was able to produce weak contact with his three pitch mix. The right-hander showed an athletic delivery down the mound, working from a compact, loose ¾ arm action. His fastball jumped out of the hand early, sitting 89-92 mph in the first inning and settling into 87-79 mph in the seventh. He also utilized a sharp 11/5 curveball at 80-82 mph that flashed out-pitch potential, and a changeup at 83-85 mph that played with arm-side sink. Final Line: 7.0 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 5 K. A two-way player to follow at the collegiate level.
