RHP Paul Svanascini (Notre Dame College Prep) was yet another 2024 right-hander that ran his fastball into the mid/upper 80s, sitting in the 85-86 mph range. His delivery works with high effort but he showed the ability to control his pitches as he went deeper into his pen. To pair off his fastball he went to two different breaking balls; with an 11/5 downer curveball at 71-72 mph, and a 10/4 slider that flashed depth at 74-75 mph. His final offering was a fading changeup thrown with intent, 77-79 mph.

SL: 72-75 mph. Small 10/4 shape. T2511, 2391 average rpm.

Body: 5-10, 170-pounds. Tall, quiet setup, minimal load and long stride.
Delivery: Pre-set windup; steps back into high knee and hip turn, athletic balance point. Long, smooth stride down the mound; balanced, athletic finish.
Arm Action: RH. Long draw, loose arm action to a 3/4 slot.
FB: T79, 78-78 mph. Consistent arm-side run, at an average of 15.8 inches. Low average release height of 4.66 feet.
CB: 71-71 mph. Gradual 11/5 shape; flashed a feel to spot under the zone.
CH: 70-72 mph. Slight deceleration with arm-side run/fade.

Hit: RHH. Tall, quiet setup, minimal load and long stride. Strong hands, flat path, line-drive approach and uses the middle of the field.
Power: 92 mph exit velocity from the tee. Max exit velocity of 95.36 mph and max distance of 309' during BP, according to TrackMan.
Arm: RH. INF - 80 mph. Long arm action, 3/4 slot.
Defense: Comfortable moving to his glove side, fields in the center of his body, length through release.
Run: 7.46 runner in the 60.

Body: 5-10, 170-pounds. Strong lower half.
Defense: Fluid footwork, average hands.
Arm: RH. INF - 79 mph. Long arm action, 3/4 slot, throws flashed carry.
Hit: RHH. Open balance setup, leg kick. Fast hands, short level swing, gets extension, gap-to-gap approach, fluid rhythm.
Power: 92 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Run: 7.69 runner in the 60.

FB: T78, 76-77 mph. Slight run.

Solid build right-handed pitcher. Delivery is methodical and repeatable. Long arm action, plays out of high ¾ slot, low effort arm. Fastball sat 77-78 in two innings of work, touching 79, flashed arm-side run. Change showed sinking action at 73-75 mph.

Delivery: Smooth repeatable delivery, directional down the mound and lands square.
Arm Action: RH. Long, loose arm action plays easy out of a 3/4 slot.
FB: T76, 73-74 mph. Thrown for strikes, arm-side-run.
CB: 63-66 mph. Cutter action, short wrinkle.
CH: 69-70 mph. Maintains arm speed, feel for the zone, sinking action.
