10.11.15 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound catcher, lean athletic build, advanced shape, projectable body. Hits from the right side, open stance, short stride back to even, balanced through contact. Flashed hard contact, strong hands, showed the ability to handle the bat with ease. Line drive gap to gap type hitter. 89 mph exit velocity from the tee. 2.12-2.19 pop times out of the crouch, soft hands, receives the ball deep, fluid feet and efficient transfer. Arm plays over the top, slightly longer draw, 75 mph arm strength, showed carry. 7.00 runner. High upside catcher, like his projection across all tools, strong follow.
2.16.15 - 6-foot-1, 175-pound, right-handed hitting catcher. Good makeup. In the field has a short arm action from an over the top arm slot, and a quick, clean exchange. Some softness in the hands receiving. Popped 2.14-2.22 and threw 72 mph from the crouch. At the plate hits from an open stance, back load, and good balance. Long, uphill swing path, flashes good batspeed. 90 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.18.
2/17/14 - 6-foot-1, 170-pound catcher. Offensively hits from a standard setup, balanced stance, short stride. Front foot hitter, tendency to lunge, hands work loosely, above average bat speed. Posted 88 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively uses a short over the top arm action out of the crouch, 68 mph arm strength. Recorded pop times at 2.26-2.37. Ran the 60 in 7.12.
