Starts from an open, wide stance, slight pre-pitch load to his backside and a short stride. Uphill bat path through the zone and opposite-field approach in batting practice. Defensively, showcased on the infield and outfield. Threw 85 mph from the outfield. Over-the-top slot, short-arm action and some carry. On the infield flashed quick feet with a quick exchange. Actions played better in the infield than the outfield. Showed above average arm strength throwing 83 mph across the infield and 86 mph from the outfield.

2/22/15- 6-foot, 186-pound, right-handed hitting shortstop with a strong, athletic build. In the field has a short loose arm action from a high ¾ arm slot. Some accuracy with average arm strength. Average hands with a 3B profile. Threw 75 mph across the infield. At the plate hits from an open stance, raises on load with a short leg kick stride. Line drive hitter with power and a long, uphill swing path. 83 mph exit velocity from a tee. Home to first at 4.65.
