FR. INF Zack Maduzia (St. Francis) was arguably the biggest winner from the event after putting together one of the loudest performances of the day. The RHH led the event in multiple different categories including 60-yard dash (6.52) and INF velocity (91 mph). Maduzia recorded the second best max exit velocity at 104.1 mph and second best average exit velocity at 95.7 mph. Displayed sound actions on the infield while showing range to both sides. A transfer looking to have a big impact in the Scots lineup in the 2027 spring.

Saint Xavier commit. Currently ranked No. 269 in the state. Lean, high-waisted 5-foot-10, 165-pound frame. Batted leadoff and played shortstop for St. Francis. Defensively, he showed consistency and range up the middle, displaying reliable hands and an accurate arm from across the diamond. A right-handed hitter, he was on the barrel in his third at-bat for a hard pull-side single and later showed easy foot speed out of the box when he posted a 4.30 home to first.

Body: 5-9, 156-pounds. Proportional frame with room to fill out.
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, hangs foot slightly into a long stride, quiet hands, hands start high and work into path. Level, direct bat path. Extension out front, line drive approach to the middle and pull-side part of the field. 68.9 mph bat speed with 14 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 82.1 mph. 314’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 72 mph. Short, clean arm action, 3/4 slot.
Defense: Stays low, moves with ease, hands work.
Run: 7.04 runner in the 60.

Body: 5-5, 115-pounds. Compact, wide-shouldered frame.
Hit: RHH. Narrow, balanced setup. Short stride. Loose, athletic hands. Stays level through the zone. Extension through contact. Feel for the barrel.
Power: 80.8 max exit velocity, averaged 75.7 mph. 284’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 73 mph. Short arm action, natural high 3/4 with the ability to throw from multiple arm slots.
Defense: Natural infield actions. Clean exchange. Quick release at times.
Run: 7.60 runner in the 60.
